Global Warming murder fantasy nabs prize as most honest political ad of all time
“10:10″ is a campaign to get people around the world to lower their carbon consumption by 10% in the year 2010. Global Warming and all that, you see.
It’s quite a large, well-organized movement, funded in part by the British government.
This morning, the 10:10 campaign released “No Pressure,” a much-anticipated video promoting the notion of compliance to the carbon-reduction drive, a video scripted by famed British screenwriter Richard Curtis (Notting Hill, Mr. Bean, etc.) and produced by a professional film crew with top-notch actors.
However…
Within minutes of its unveiling earlier today, “No Pressure” caused such an uproar that it was taken offline while the producers issued an apology.
Luckily, enterprising bloggers saved copies and have been frantically re-uploading them to YouTube, to prevent the video from disappearing down the memory hole.
Why? Because no video has ever provided such a revealing and shocking peek into the mindset of the Global Warming alarmists.

If someone set out to intentionally discredit the Global Warming movement, they couldn’t have made a video more devastating than this one. It’s as if the eco-fascists have an irrepressible urge to expose their unconscious fantasies to those whom they seek to dominate — like a serial killer who sends taunting letters to the media. “When we say ‘No pressure,’ what that really means is, ‘We will kill you if you don’t obey.’ So, don’t worry, NO PRESSURE. I wonder if the entire point was to put it up – then try to hide it knowing that copies would make the rounds – the whole thing goes viral and the creators sit back looking smug “trying new ways to get the message out”, as their apology states quite clearly.

The problem with their apology is that it doesn’t cover the real reason for the outrage. It’s no so much that they fantasized about killing their political opponents, it’s that they didn’t see anything wrong with putting it on the net. Just a reminder….the environmental movement was abducted in the 90′s by ex communists after the USSR disintegrated.

Hate to tell you, but the environmental movement was partly (though not entirely) a creation of the Russian KGB, as a means of weakening/undermining the U.S. economy and pushing us towards socialism and worse. The Soviets, of course, were little more than maggots cashing in on intellectual rot, but they did provide a lot of the funding and support for the movement.
For instance, Global Warming started out as “Nuclear Winter”, a means of promoting unilateral nuclear disarmament. That morphed into global cooling, but when that idea froze on the vine, it became global “warming”. When *that* dead bird hit the windshield (forgive the mixed metaphor), it morphed once again into “climate change”.
Cap and Trade was a huge part of the Soviet (now Russian) effort — the Russians knew it would be devastating to the Western economies. (Fact: Russian intelligence is more active now than at the peak of the Soviet Union.)
Of course, the environmental movement has long since taken on a life of it’s own, cashing in on the cult of guilt and sacrifice promoted by our religious and other leaders — it’s everyone who wants to believe “good” lies in renouncing, giving up, suffering and sacrificing their right to pursue their own happiness — to help the starving Africans (who are starving because they are victims of some variant of socialism or communism), or the Planet, or whatever loony cause you care to name.
Sacrifice is their leifmotif: if it causes you to give something up and suffer, by god, that must make it good. And now we have the religion of environmentalism being foisted on us in violation of the First Amendment, and it demands we waste the precious minutes of our lives with garbage such as laws making it mandatory that we sort our trash for “re-cycling”, and laws even putting TV cameras in our trash bins to make sure we comply (true! — there’s towns in England and even Cleveland, Ohio, does it).
(Note that where we were once sacrificing for “big” causes like “The Planet”, now we’re sacrificing for the local trash company to receive exhorbitant “re-cycling fees”. As Ayn Rand said, where there’s someone making sacrifices, there’s someone else collecting them.)

Was there no one (ie. director, actors, script writers, cameramen, editors, etc) who during the course of production even once entertained the thought that killing a couple non-conformist (and presumably ignorant) kids is not only not funny, but sick?

It’s not us who feel threatened by reality, nor us who is threatening others, but THE ISSUE–not being resolved our way–which is threatening. We are merely the agents of positive, progressive change. Since we are doing good for the planet, our response is reasonable.
It’s a perfect psychopathic excuse.

Did they take a poll to arrive at the quantitative “many” and “some”? No evidence exists either way. But let’s ask the important questions: Who would consider blowing children up funny? Again, the only reasonable explanation is: psychopaths. Perhaps this only indicates that they associate with “many” mentally ill people.
Wikipedia defines psychopathy in part as: “abnormal lack of empathy combined with strongly amoral conduct but masked by an ability to appear outwardly normal.” It continues with “Psychopaths gain satisfaction through antisocial behavior, and do not experience shame, guilt, or remorse for their actions.” It must have been humorously satisfying to imagine blowing up anybody who disagrees with them.
Their lame excuse reflects this illness. They “apologized” only after a significant number of people objected, indicating their lack of empathy. Empathy would have motivated them to not produce this movie in the first place. This indicates another aspect of psychopathy: They are not remorseful for producing a video of children being blown up simply because they disagree with the teacher, but because, as Wikipedia notes: “psychopaths who undergo traditional talk therapy only become more adept at manipulating others.”
In this case, significant feedback substitutes for talk therapy, which is designed to hold up a mirror to the perpetrator until he/she takes responsibility for their actions.
They are also remorseful only because they were caught, which is common among violent felons who “apologize” in court during the sentencing phase.
Also, as Wikipedia notes: “They do not deeply recognize the risk of being caught, disbelieved or injured as a result of their behaviour.” Again, they were unable to understand that people would be emotionally injured by such a video, even though they portrayed people, guilty only of non-violent self-expression, being murdered by summary violence, which is legal under socialist/totalitarian regimes.
And that’s all we need to know about these people.

Don’t know about taking a poll but the Guardian site that introduced the video, and that is a left-leaning newspaper, has had hundreds of comments. The most voted for, with over 500 recommends, is the first to state complete disgust. The most voted for positive comment is hitting maybe 20 recommends. The total number of negative comments is probably 10-20 times the positive ones. Bill McKibben and Joe Romm have both dissed the movie too. I think we can see what the general view is.

Matilda, the gore scenes are more like water balloons filled with blood and chicken guts exploding and those shots are seamlessly placed where a human being is.
You never see actual body parts or heads flying.
