   Perhaps “The Cause” is a failure. After last November 6 one can be forgiven for feeling that way. Jim has spent the majority of his Senate career in the virtual wilderness as a minority frozen out of any significance by the chicanery of Harry Reid and the connivance of the D majority. Staying in the Senate under these conditions, waiting for a miracle, is a fool’s errand. If he feels he can be of better influence and generate a better strategy from the outside then he should do so.

   I, for one, do not blame Jim for seeking greener pastures elsewhere.

     DeMint? No, doesn’t look that way.

     The one I’m wondering about is Armey. Something is going on at FreedomWorks, and it would be nice to know the details.
