Coming This Fall to NBC
June 25th, 2010 - 1:25 pm
Or more like, “Coming this afternoon to PJTV.”
It’s the debut of VodkaPundit’s Coast-to-Coast Tea Party. My first guest is North Carolina Second District congressional candidate Renee Ellmers. You might know Renee as the only person brave enough to take on Bob “The Manhandler” Etheridge.
After talking to Renee, all I could think was, “More like her, please.”

Louisiana’s 3rd district has a tight race developing. Now in the hands of a ‘Blue Dog’ (D), the district is expected to swing to the Republicans. Three are currently in the race: 1) the big name, career politician and attorney, 2) the career candidate and attorney, and 3) Magar, an oil and gas district manager and adjunct professor.
The last independent poll shows the top 2 candidates at 37% and 21% with Magar ‘gaining at 16%’. Magar, with no name recognition and a having spent next to nothing, he is obviously the one to watch in this race.
Considering, also, Magar’s career in the oil and gas industry and his education as an Industrial Engineer with a concentration in Occupational Health and Safety, he is uniquely qualified for the needs of this district, the U.S. congressional district most effected by the oil spill.
Stay tuned! This race is just getting started.
Out of the three candidates in the primary she was my third choice. Don’t get me wrong she is a conservative and has my whole hearted support. She knows her constitution and is not a lawyer. The main reason she was my third choice is at a forum here in Clayton she made an unfortunate comment about working with “friends across the isle”. Hopefully it was a slip of the tongue rather than a policy.
I thought it was a great interview, and like you, Steve, I kept thinking “more, please!”
Adobe, I sure hope that she was just being polite and doesn’t plan to do anything other than give the stinkeye to those across the aisle. Every time republicans walk across, we lose. If she’s your third choice, it sounds like the other two are even better, which is a good sign. Thanks for your post, it benefits me greatly to hear from people who are actually in the areas where these people are trying to get elected.
More like this, Steve, this is great, being able to listen and watch the races around the country.
I wish I could offer some optimism about California. I can’t, really. I’m willing to be surprised, but I think we’re going to go crashing into the abyss by this time next year….
I’d like to recommend a future interview of Christine O’Donnell. She’s running in a primary against Super RINO, Mike Castle, for Joe Biden’s old US Senate seat.
