A Man Can Dream

November 11, 2009 - 11:35 pm - by Stephen Green

While I haven’t actually watched the Lou Dobbs resignation video, I’m pretty sure he begins by saying, “Why, if it hadn’t been for those darn kids…”

Here’s to hoping that Pat Buchanan takes the cue and does likewise. Maybe the two of them could get a nice little cottage together on Key West.

Nah, not Key West. I suggest they sneak over the border and get a condo in Cancun.

The left-whingers were trying to blame CNN’s collapsing viewership on Dobbs, who was on for a grand total of five hours a week.

Whom will they blame when CNN’s numbers don’t improve now? King?

It’s self-evident from the transcript that he’s at least thinking of running for office, or campaigning for someone else.

It was a lot of “these guys are great, I’m proud to have worked with them” coupled with thinly veiled complaints that those great guys are more interested in protecting Obama than in doing their jobs and he’s sick of trying to be an honest journalist in a campaign office.
