Zombie Bleg
Need a little help here.
My wife works with sick kids here in Atlanta. One of her patients is a teenage guy who’s recovering from a really bad car crash. He’s still in the hospital doing rehab right now, but he could be ready to go home by the end of the summer.
He’s a huge fan of Rob Zombie, who is playing a show in Atlanta about the time the kid will be ready to leave the hospital. We’d like to see if we can arrange for the kid to either meet Zombie, or just get into the show. If anybody out there has a Zombie album, and could look up the name of his management company in the liner notes (I’ve had no luck Googling), I’d really appreciate it if you’d post that information in the comments, or send me an email (blog -at- willcollier.com).

Well, I don’t own any Zombie albums, but I did a bit of Googling myself and found that White Zombie is apparently managed by Andy Gould Management:

I’ll see if I can google some contact info for you too…
Hi Will,
Rob Zombie, believe it or not, has a My Space page with tons of info, including info on his label, Geffen.

Good luck.

The local promoter will be able to hook you up, and will be much easier to get in touch with, and much more sympathetic, than apathetic record company employees in NYC/LA. The local venue can probably point you in the right direction to finding the promoter.
Just as a sidenote, and I speak from experience, he puts on one hell of a show
Drew’s right. I’d get the kid prepped for the possibility and play it locally at the gig.
What’s the venue? I still know people down there.
For future reference, the site “Who Represents” track celebrity representation, despite it’s terrible url:

You might also try contacting the local radio station (hard rock in this case). If I am not mistaken in Atlanta that’s 99X. They might already have tickets set aside for promotions, contests, etc.

He is a pretty good guy actually, and if you get through the “label weasels” at Geffen, he’ll probably be glad to help you out.
And yeah, his shows are awesome!
