Two people emailed me over the weekend with a link to a giant Lego aircraft carrier.
All I can say is, I’m gonna need more gray bricks.

That is so cool.
Go up to the Mall of America (in Minnesota), head to Legoland, and you’ll see some impressive creations.
I am constantly astonished by the degree to which my level of discipline is sometimes humbled.

It would be interesting to know whether that’s patterned after some specific ship. It isn’t based on any American carrier built since 1950, because they all had angled flight decks.

Actually, as an examination of the photo linked above will demonstrate, the model does have the angled flight deck, it simply lacks the paint job to indicate it.
