The LA Weekly published blogger Michael Totten’s latest account from Lebanon.
Well, if that guy didn’t like what Michael wrote on his blog, he’s really not gonna like that article.
Great article though. What he’s doing takes some serious cajones.
The LAT still has much to answer for – but this is a nice step in the right direction…
One more example of how much forebearance the Israelis exhibit on a daily basis, knowing right where these sumbitches are and having plenty of missles and attack aircraft sitting around.
Wow, that’s good reading. Thanks.
Great article. Good on ya LAT. Great example of a truly courageous reporter.
A few thoughts.
Proof that there is no substitute for embedding reporters directly in a situation be that Afganistan, the Iraq war or Lebanon. There is no substitute for being there and actually in the mix.
It would do a lot of politicians good to get over there an actually see what’s going on.
Secondly, where is the collectivist “BusHitler” crowd on this one. The security forces over there actually behave the way they wish that the supposed brownshirt republicans would.
The L.A. Weekly is in no way related to the L.A. Times.
Just so you know.
