A few thoughts.
Proof that there is no substitute for embedding reporters directly in a situation be that Afganistan, the Iraq war or Lebanon. There is no substitute for being there and actually in the mix.
It would do a lot of politicians good to get over there an actually see what’s going on.
Secondly, where is the collectivist “BusHitler” crowd on this one. The security forces over there actually behave the way they wish that the supposed brownshirt republicans would.
