“I want to pray humbly that I am on God’s side.”
Bush promised us a “humble” foriegn policy. He delivered — until 9/11.
This is no time for humility. Or for the “respect” Kerry just mentioned. It’s a time for strength — and I’ve heard precious little of that so far tonight.

what if Democrats didnt hate their country?
If I’m not mistaken, it’s the first time “Bush” has been uttered at the convention.
AFter 9/11, we now know why no one’s ever come up with a slogan like this: Peace through Humility.
Reagan said it best, of course: Peace through Strength.
the thing is, Bush thinks that he is personally preparing the way for the second coming of Christ.
If I hear about the goddamned gunboat one more time, Im going to vietnam.
He’s humble before God, not like Bush, who’s always giving God shit and pushing Him around.
That’s right David. And this one time Bush tried to give Him a wedgie but he couldn’t because God goes commando. Don’t laugh because you know that if you were God you’d do it too.
How about stronger abroad, respected at home? That would be nice for a change.
