In case you hadn’t, um, heard, the cow escaped from a slaughterhouse before it could, uh, meet its maker. Kowtowing to its new celebrity status, a Ken Meyer Meats representitive said they have decided to let bessie live.

Then this, “Marge Schott, the former owner of the Cincinnati Reds’ baseball team, has said the cow can have a new home on her farm. ” Asked for comment, the cow simply walked back into the slaughterhouse.
