There is no such thing as a “Quidditch World Cup.” I repeat, there is no such things as a “Quidditch World Cup.”

Harry Potter fans will be able to read regular updates from the Quidditch tournament via the Pottermore website.

Characters from the books will feature in the reports, which will be credited to Harry’s wife Ginny.

Ginny is billed as “the Daily Prophet’s Quidditch Correspondent in the Patagonian desert” where the tournament is said to be staged.

The first installment of Rowling’s History of the Quidditch World Cup was posted on the digital platform last month, with the second part following shortly afterwards.

It was a crap storyline full of British socialism. Harry Potter, the main character who never did anything heroic. He's miserable. He endures a lot of "injustice", but he never faces down any serious threat. Someone is always standing just over his shoulder waiting to leap in and save him from evil.

I don't get the negative headline. She created a world that people want to enter if she extends it. That seems like a good thing. If people don't want to go there they will not, but if they do what is your problem with it?

"...she created a world that people want to enter if she extends it. That seems like a good thing. "

Why would you think that's a good thing?

Oh, right. Bread, circuses, and who cares?

Gotcha.

No, bread and circuses are what government does to pacify the electorate. She is a writer who has written something people enjoy. Manipulated vs. free.
Gotcha.
