Stephen Kruiser

Palin argued that the U.S. should not intervene in any Middle East conflict as long as President Obama remains in office.

“Until we have a commander in chief who knows what he is doing….let Allah sort it out!” she told the Faith and Freedom Coalition.

Thousands of words have been written in the last couple of days about The Idiot King’s Bubba-induced change of heart on Syria, most of them negative. The woman both sides love to hate (and always for inaccurate reasons) provided a pretty good summation of the mess in eighteen.

Love her or hate her, she’s not going anywhere kids.

Those who oppose U.S. military intervention in Syria are getting the best deal they can hope for from a president who seems committed against leading this country into a second Iraq War (with a brutal Saddam-like Baathist WMD-using dictator)-but who needs to avoid looking completely weak and wimpish (Clinton's "total fool") after issuing a stern warning on WMDs.

Giving small arms to the rebels through Turkey is a small concession to McCain, Clinton and the anti-Assad hawks; and only a tiny betrayal of Soros, HuffPo and anti-war doves. All in all it's much ado about nothing as the region seems headed towards a full scale sectarian war if Assad doesn't fall. In the words of Sarah Palin Obama seems content to let "Allah sort it out."

He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. If the region plunges into a horrific sectarian conflict over Syria Obama will be excoriated by the hawks and condemned by history for his inaction. If he intervenes militarily and overthrows Assad (which we can easily do) Obama would run the very real risk of Iran, Iraq, Hezbollah and al-Qaida turning post-Assad Syria into another post-Saddam Iraq destabilizing the country with terrorist violence and massive death-with the left excoriating him as another George Bush with war crimes and blood on his hands. Either way history will not be kind to Barack Hussein Obama.

I think Gov. Palin is reading the NSA's log of my phone calls. That's exactly what I said to a friend of mine a few days ago.

Completely agree. We should respect the religion of peace to find a solution.
