The older brother in the Boston Marathon attack, the late Tamerlan Tsarnaev, posed for a series of mixed martial arts pictures for a photographer displaying them in his online gallery. Tsarnaev, 26, was killed in the early morning hours from an explosive blast to his chest and multiple gunshot wounds during a firefight with police.

Posting the pictures would violate copyright (click here to view the gallery), but most telling are the captions.

Originally from Chechnya, but living in the United States since five years, Tamerlan says: “I don’t have a single American friend, I don’t understand them.”

Tamerlan, 196 lbs, will represent New England in the heavyweight category at the National Golden Gloves competition in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Tamerlan, who studies at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston and wants to become an engineer, took the semester off from school to train for the competition.

If he wins enough fights there, Tamerlan says he could be selected for the US Olympic team and be naturalized American. Unless his native Chechnya becomes independent, Tamerlan says he would rather compete for the United States than for Russia.

Tamerlan fled Chechnya with his family because of the conflict in the early 90s, and lived for years in Kazakhstan before getting to the United States as a refugee.

Tamerlan stops to answer a phone call while walking from his Mercedes to the Wai Kru Mixed Martial Arts center, where he practices boxing.

Tamerlan says he loves the movie “Borat,” even though some of the jokes are a bit too much.

“When you start kicking, it gets dirty. That’s what I think,” Tamerlan says. Of kickboxers, he says: “They don’t know how to move.”

Tamerlan says he doesn’t usually take his shirt off so girls don’t get bad ideas: “I’m very religious.”

Tamerlan says he doesn’t drink or smoke anymore: “God said no alcohol.” A muslim, he says: “There are no values anymore,” and worries that “people can’t control themselves.”

Tamerlan says his girlfriend is half Portuguese, half Italian girlfriend and converted to Islam: “She’s beautiful, man!”

He also had an Islam-centric YouTube page that includes a subscription to the channel “Allah is the One.”

Why? The elites are in little or no danger in their gated communities , and for several months we were treated to the spectacle of millionaires with armed security paid out of taxpayer dollars, debating whether they would graciously deign to allow those same tax payers access to weapons which equalize the weakest woman to the strongest and most vicious thug. Their indifference to our welfare is patent.

The media will be trying to moderate this into their Chechnyan i.d. as opposed to Al Qaida roots, etc., but the Chechnyans were some of the worst Islamists with the Moscow theater hostage incident, an airliner shot down and the Beslan school takeover.
This ought to be a real boost to the immigration bill.

Everyone on FNC this morning was asking where they became radicalized, yet none of them wondered what mosque they attend. My WTF moment of the morning.

There are no values anymore? Here are the key values in Islam:

I shall terrorize the Infidels.
- Allah (in the Ko-Ran)

I have been made victorious by terror.
- the Holy Prophet Mohammed (in the Hadiths)

What did Tamerlan do for a living? He's not in school and drives a Mercedes. More to this story than two guys.

So he does not take off his shirt because of his religion but he has no trouble blowing up innocent people at a sporting event? That's some religion you got there, Tamerlan.

"Tamerlan," named for "Timur the Lame," the second great leader of a resurgent Mongol Horde. Bringer of Havoc and Death.

Andrew Bostom, in his masterful "Sharia versus Freedom", has an extended discussion about "the Islamized Mongol conqueror Amir Timur-i-lang, or "Tamerlane"" who campaigns are "infamous for their extensive massacres and "pyramids of heads"".

I'd bet that immigration bill is being ripped to shreds right this minute. RIP

Nope. We are already being told that we shouldn't use this event to "score political points." I would rather score political points than bury more Americans.

Actually, I did here one of them on Fox News mention the mosque(s) they may have attended and where/when they may have been "radicalized" as among the questions yet to be answered.

I think everybody loses/wins on the issue of the bomber's identity. Yes, he's a Muslim, but he is also--strictly speaking--a Caucasian, Chechnya being in Transcaucasia. He looks Turkic but is probably a mix of a number of ethnicities including Russian, Persian and half a dozen other things. Oh yeah, and his name is Tamerlane, a man not exactly known for his pacific "international" diplomacy.

Wondering if the older brother led the younger brother into this. Various articles (for what they're worth) say friends described the 19 year old as pretty normal. His mother (as you would expect) says he's an angel. But if they came here without their folks, I could see him depending on his brother, looking up to him, and following him.

I'm not clear on whether the two have been here for 10 years or just two. Conflicting information from the media - no surprise. Definitely from a troubled region, though.

Yesterday when the pictures of the "Caucasian looking" suspects came out you could feel the media's hope that they would be Christians, but this morning when I heard the news that they were from Chechnya and there was no reference to their religion, it became obvious that the media's worst fears had been realized.

The bombers were MUSLIM! Shocked! I'm shocked! I tell you!

It is ironic that the media got what they were hoping for and more! - a real true Caucasian - from the Caucasus! But life is a little more complex than what a person looks like you media political hack boneheads.

Stereotyping individuals by skin color is a political sickness.

Again I STILL don't understand when the public was given the initial grainy pics of these POS whereas 1 was considered, 'Caucasian'.

Sickening..
