You would think that the president would hold an intelligence briefing after a terrorist attack.   Nope. And most of the events yesterday barred the press.  This isn’t the first time Obama has skipped on intelligence briefings after terrorist attacks.

I've noticed that Obama likes to claim that "we were never told". Daily briefings might put a kink in his "plausible deniability".

In all fairness, I would imagine that security has been a major focus of his time since the Boston bombing(s). At least I certainly hope so! Perhaps having the daily intel briefing was deemed redundant if he had spent most of the preceeding hours dealing with the aftermath of Boston? Then again, he didn't seem to take much interest in the aftermath of Benghazi. Didn't he blow off the intel briefing then too, preferring to go to Vegas to hang out with Beyonce?
