Columbia prof and CNN talker Marc Lamont Hill wants America to know that while he abhors Christopher Dorner’s murders, he is happy that Dorner sparked a “public conversation.” With said murders, of course.
Dorner rightly placed a spotlight on police terrorism in America. And the pursuit to catch him showed the ugly aspects of the LAPD…
— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) February 13, 2013
Dorner, to many, is regarded as a hero because they can feel his pain. They don’t condone his behavior. But they DO understand.
— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) February 13, 2013
Let me say it ONE MORE TIME, I don’t support what Dorner did. But I DO support the public conversation on police terrorism. @michellemalkin
— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) February 13, 2013
These tweets followed Lamont Hill sounding a similar note on CNN Tuesday, even calling Dorner a “real life superhero” and “Django Unchained in real life, it’s kind of exciting,” before hastening to add that murder is bad.
Marc Lamont Hill is one sick b******. He’s the kind of person I had in mind in this post.
Update: Professor Hill co-authored a book with convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal in 2011.

– couldn’t not be reached to join in the conversation.
the pursuit to catch him showed the ugly aspects of the LAPD…
Are you saying it didn’t?
I DO support the public conversation on police terrorism.
Are you saying you don’t? The police of today are not Andy Griffith from Mayberry. They are increasingly militarized, insular, and unaccountable. There’s a desperate need to reintegrate our police into a mission of protecting and serving the citizens of a free republic, not acting as armed agents of the state, enforcing order.
Bingo.
As this column shows, Dorner has made it more difficult to address the growing problem of the militarization of our police forces.
If you say anything about this very real problem, well, you must support Dorner’s actions, right?
Wrong.
Y’all should watch the video.
We should watch the video? Pjmedia should be out front talking about how disastrously ctominal the run of the mill LAPD cop is. Dorner was only pissed off he couldn’t stay part of Quantrill’s Raiders, I mean the LAPD. Too bad, seems like he should fit right in.
You know about the random attempted murder of three uninvolved people who looked nothing like Dorner but drove blue pickups, right?
There is conversation that should be had.
Why aren’t those cops already arraigned on attempted murder?
Because Dorner was right about the LAPD*, and that’s pk with the Dems that run LA.
*Take note, a pinhead might confuse that statement with supporting Dorner.
Gotta love voice to text and tiny screens.
ctominal /= criminal
pk /= ok
Again, watch the video.
The video is horrible, so Marc Hill. I don’t think you’ve gotten any pushback there.
I haven’t seen any commentary at PJM to the effect how much more horrible it is there were two separate instances of the LAPD lighting up people who bore no resemblance to Dorner, for no good reason at all.
Doesn’t this tell any one there that Dorner should have fit in well with that pack of animals? The bigger problem is not that someone goes off their nut and starts killing people, the bigger problem isn’t that the mass media is corrupt and a propaganda arm for the left. The problem is Dorner was right enough about the LAPD–of course his beef was they didn’t let him in on it–that the whole place should be put under martial law, the LAPD disbanded and reformed under entirely new leadership, and under stricter psych standards such that around half don’t get rehired, and none with seniority, and their union dissolved and banned.
Put the whole thing under an elected sheriff, and federally enforce the 2nd and 14th amendments on the state. Force open carry and shall issue CCW.
Place will improve markedly within a year.
Please understand that what I mean by forcing shall issue CCW and open carry, is to force acceptance of such on the local political structure. Enforcing the second Amendment.
No political or police interference or harassment permitted.
Another place that needs the 2nd enforced on it:

Saying anything about the problem is one thing.
Calling Dorner a superhero or a movie figure and saying that watching him is “exciting” is another thing.
I refuse to have any conversation with anyone who starts the conversation with ‘your a racist’. That is where every discussion involving race begins and ends with Marc Lamont Hill and others like him.
So it not that I or others ignore the ugly side of this story or the possibility of police terrorism. We just refuse to start with their premise that it’s racist.
I’m very concerned and upset about the ‘Swattings’ of innocent peoples homes and terrorizing of their families. There have been deaths involved in mistaken raids of homes suspected of drug dealing but the SWAT team arrived at the wrong address. It very troubling. But it’s not racist. Maybe if Marc Lamont Hill had not poisoned himself with his constant race baiting I would listen to him.
Is that clear R C Dean?
Dorner also ranted against the private ownership of guns in his manifesto. “His rampage showed the ugly aspects of private gun ownership.”
Or are you saying it didn’t?
Indeed, his rampage could “spur the public conversation on private gun ownership.”
Do you support that conversation as well?
From the moment Eric Holder set up shop at the DOJ as an arm of the NAACP claiming we need to talk about “things racial,” to Hill’s “public conversation,” the tacit understanding is that this dialogue is in fact one way, the outcome predetermined.
Men like Hill and Holder don’t want a “dialogue,” they want a confession.
Hill is a perfect example of the intellectual illiteracy that can result by overly relating to race. You end up doing the very thing you say not to do. Right and wrong may as well be determined by Ansel Adam’s zone system of 10 squares going from dark to light.
In Hill’s abused intellect, the terrorism black youth inflicts on this country is many multiples above any so-called police terrorism but conspicuously ignored. In Hill’s world, there is no goose, just the gander.
When you start to address reasons for failure within the American black community, Hill’s obvious stupidity is its own explanation, since failure is not nearly as complicated a series of mitigations and blame as the black Left makes it out to be. Hill is simply dumb.
Marc Lamont Hill and company are saying the ends justify the means.
So if you think an end doesn’t have to justify its means, I guess you use a blowtorch to drive nails?
MLH is a bloomin’ idiot. I have to switch channels when he shows up on my TV screen to spew his idiocy. I pray for his students.
A couple of you need to put this under your pillow. If you can’t tell the difference between statements on a white supremacist website and some of these, that’s the real issue, isn’t it?

Let’s be clear about what these sites do, some worse than others since a few are maunderings on black hair and actors: the majority of these sites pieces detach morality from white people and attach morality to black people; that’s what they do. We know what that’s called when white people do it and what such white sites would be called. Amazingly, this cascade of hokum and gripe doesn’t have a corresponding white presence by way of “white culture” sites. We can presume the explanation for that is that America already is one giant white culture site. When these black sites aren’t attacking white people they are advocating for blacks, congratulation blacks for basically being black and generally obsessing on race.
Imagine the energy, money and careers centered around this world, and who’s taking it in.
Morons, heal thyselves.
Thanks for this exhaustive list. Because of it, I just found out that this year’s Jeopardy Teen Tournament winner was black. Dude’s a character and won in epic fashion. Without sites like these, probably would have been buried beneath thousands of murder and drug cases on the 10 O’Clock News.
Here’s to hoping this reply to your screed isn’t too subtle for ya.
Likewise, OJ placed a spotlight on unfaithful ex wives, thereby illustrating the ugly side of women who marry men of color.
Ad hominem is a fallacy, last I checked. Rejecting the idea that the LAPD really showed its ass in the last week and that we have an increasingly dysfunctional police culture just because some racialist nitwit said it is, well, fallacious.
Do you approve or disapprove of the LAPD’s. performance?
Do you approve or disapprove of a militarized, insular, and unaccountable police force that acts as the armed enforcers of the State?
That’s all I’m asking.
Here are a couple of rejoinders:
If you want to spotlight the LAPD being a vast, blue-uniformed army of fail (which they are) Chris Dorner is not your friend. Newspaper delivery people, possibly — Dorner, no.
M.LaM.Hill is, first and foremost, a race-baiting ninny who only gets the press that others choose to display to us.
I can tell you from some immersion in race-based politics [I live in S/E Michigan]that his so-called views are shared by countless thousands of Af-Ams in my particular area [at a minimum]. Testing what can be tolerated by Non-Blacks, is a daily game around these parts.
I live in what could be called a Blended Area just west of Detroit’s N/W corner and the Mortgage Crisis has been enough of an incentive to enhance Af-Am out-migration, to my area and several others .
As a result, now we see here an African-American P T A [they will not seem to allow whites to participate, in general, although the reverse is not true]and We Now See what can only be described as gangs of youth [definitely majority black] walking suburban streets ‘trying’ car door handles, and the like.
Call the cops and they’re ‘somewhat reluctant’ to do much.
(I find that “shucking” the action on my pump shotgun, unloaded by the way, gets lot-sa attention and very few repeat walk-bys.)
This wordy diatribe is attempting to illustrate that if you want to see some seeming racial parity, sometimes you just gotta force the issue and often, sound effects work as good as anything.
