The headline is a quote from a 1993 speech delivered by Khalid Muhammad, which is embedded at Patterico. In the 1980s, Muhammad was appointed the Nation of Islam’s national spokesman by Louis Farrakhan. In the 1993 speech, Muhammad was describing his solution to the problem of apartheid in South Africa. His solution was, in a word, genocide.
As noted above, Muhammad delivered that speech in November 1993. In October 1994, Harvard Law Professor Derrick Bell denounced “neoconservative Jewish racists” and singled two men out for special praise.
“We should really appreciate the Louis Farrakhans and the Khalid Muhammads while we’ve got them.” Khalid Muhammad was Farrakhan’s right hand, who made a name for himself referring to Jews as, among many other things, “bloodsuckers” whose “father was the devil.” As for Farrakhan, if you need a refresher course in his vileness, look here.
Why exactly were we supposed to appreciate them? Quoth Bell: “While these guys talk a lot, they don’t do anything. The new crop of leaders are going to be a lot more dangerous and radical, and the next phase will probably be led by charismatic individuals, maybe teenagers, who urge that instead of killing each other, they should go out in gangs and kill a whole lot of white people.”
That’s Derrick Bell speaking in the paragraph above. Khalid Muhammad himself praised Colin Ferguson, the now largely forgotten black mass murderer who opened fire on a New York commuter train in 1993 and killed six white and Asian passengers, injuring 19.
Police found pieces of notebook paper in Ferguson’s pockets with scribbled notes with the heading “reasons for this”.[9] One of the notes referred to “racism by Caucasians and Uncle Tom Negroes”.[1]
In 1998 Khalid Muhammad became leader of the New Black Panther Party.
Barack Obama associated with Derrick Bell until the professor’s death, spanning the years from 1990 or 1991 to 2011. As a college teacher himself in 1994, the same year Bell lauded Khalid Muhammad, Obama demanded that his students study the ideas of Professor Bell.
In 1995, Barack Obama launched his political career in the home of Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. The pair were at the time already well-known for their terrorism career of the 1960s and 1970s. Dohrn had been on the FBI’s Most Wanted List from 1970 to 1973 and later served prison time, while Ayers never served time because the Supreme Court ruled the FBI wiretaps done on him were unconstitutional. They had lived underground for more than a decade before reassuming their true names and identities in the 1980s. Neither have ever repented their campaign of violence; Ayers in fact says that he wishes he and the Weathermen had committed more violence. This is all well known, as is Obama’s association with Ayers on the Woods Fund board in Chicago.
Less well known is whom Dohrn had herself singled out for praise.
In December 1969, Weatherman convened a “War Council” at a black-owned concert hall in a Flint, Michigan ghetto. At that event (whose attendees included SDS leaders Tom Hayden and Jeff Jones), Dohrn launched a scathing attack on Hayden and his white confederates for not being radical enough. Said Dohrn: “Since October 11 [the last day of the Days of Rage], we’ve been wimpy…. A lot of us are still honkies and we’re scared of fighting. We have to get into armed struggle.” Also during the Council, Dohrn gave her most memorable and notorious speech to her followers. Holding her fingers in what became the Weatherman “fork salute,” she said of the bloody murders recently committed by the Manson Family (in which the pregnant actress Sharon Tate and a Folgers Coffee heiress and several other inhabitants of a Benedict Canyon mansion had been brutally stabbed to death): “Dig it! First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into the victim’s stomach! Wild!”[7]
Charles Manson, now an environmentalist of sorts, instigated the Tate and LaBianca murders in 1969 to incite a race war.
None of these people — Manson, Farrakhan, Muhammad, Ayers, Dohrn, Bell — have repented or renounced a word or deed of what they had done or advocated.
“We kill the women. We kill the children. We kill the babies. We kill the blind. We kill the crippled. We kill the [imitates a crazy person]. We kill ‘em all. We kill the faggots. We kill the lesbians. We kill them all.
Bill Ayers, dreamer of a race war, is Charles Manson with a trust fund, a degree, and family connections.
He should be considered the same sort of disingenuous provocateur as “Brother Jack” in the “Brotherhood” chapters of Ralph Ellison’s Invisible Man, wherein “Brother Jack” recruits the unnamed narrator to be a spokesman/stooge for “the Brotherhood” (i.e., the Communist Party) in order to ultimately provoke a race riot.
Hey, with the Affordable Care Act, ACO’s, the IPAB and command and control of hospitals and doctor’s (and their likely surrogates), with the Bureaucracy’s right to instruct as to who will get seen by whom, when, what can be addressed and what care can be afforded … don’t they have the vehicle to carry out what your analysis shows is their end game?

And what’s more, he said so in an interview in The New York Times, which was publish on September 11, 2001.
Nothing to see here
Over at Jewish World Review, Thomas Sowell recently had a devastingly critique of Derrick Bell, how he played the radical card in order to keep his place in academia, not being able to professional justify the racial preferment he had been given in his career.
The fact that all of this (Obama’s undeniable radical past) isn’t a major national scandal continues to boggle my mind on a minute-by-minute basis.
None of these new revelations are a surprise to me, of course, but it should shock those 5%-10% of Americans who voted for Obama based on his media image, with no knowledge of his ideology.
The presence of Eric Holder, Van Jones, and the lawyers for Guantanamo terrorists being appointed by Obama to roles in his administration only confirms that he has likely only (partially) hidden his radicalism since the ’90s, not abandoned it.
Zombie – If someone on the right had the least bit of an association with something tawdry, the LSM would be shouting it to the rooftops. Whens someone on the left is associated with radicals, and all we get is the sounds of silence.
We are fortunate that there are now sites like the PJM that can reveal such things.

This post is very confusingly written and indeed, incoherent. Who is quoted in the first offseat paragraph? Bell? The author of this post? It makes no sense at all.

Besides that major point, you’re missing the forest for the trees my friend. So then that makes two major points for you to consider in depth and be unconfused.
It’s got nothing to do with ‘blog post reading’. An indented quotation should be from one person. To do otherwise is just sloppy, and well, unprofessional. Blog or not, the eds here should keep on top of this kind of stuff.
