No details yet. Seems to be a pandemic of sinking passenger ships. Don’t know if the captain spoke Italian. Wondering if they hit one of those Iranian mines designed to “block traffic.”
Or maybe they were headed for voting booths so that they could show support for one of the Republican candidates, and the captain got overexcited?

Geez, first three commenters above are pretty thin-skinned. Yes, sarcasm, but neither tasteless nor classless. Specifically, the Italian captain who showboated the cruise ship into the rocks, killing between ten and 20, fled from his beached ship while passengers remained trapped aboard. He deserves *lots* of sarcastic barbs.
The voting comment was just cryptic, not classless.
tragedy at sea, 15 people missing and presumed drowned. First article on it makes it into a bad joke = tasteless, classless, etc. Pretty freakin’ clear to anyone with a shred of humanity.
