'Ducking Dewhurst' Glimpsed in Texas Senate Race

GOP Senate candidate Ted Cruz’s campaign released the following video today. It’s…gonna leave a mark. And it could go viral.

Cruz, the former solicitor general of Texas, is squaring off against Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and others in the Texas GOP primary. The winner of the primary race is very likely to become Texas’ next senator, replacing the retiring Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison. The Lone Star state hasn’t elected a Democrat to any statewide office in nearly 20 years, and President Obama’s repeated economic attacks on the state and on the broader energy industry haven’t helped the Texas Democrats’ cause. At all.

That the Texas Democrats keep doubling down on liberalism in a very conservative hasn’t helped them either.
