It Begins: Obama Should Quit
This morning, John Fund was on WMAL-AM, the talk radio powerhouse in Washington D.C. He mentioned that nobody in Democratic circles is defending Obama anymore. Buyer’s remorse is everywhere. Essentially, only those actually working for the Administration or Democratic Party, trapped inside the Alamo, are defending the fort now. Anyone can guess when they might start turning the guns on each other, perhaps starting from Foggy Bottom. Fund thought there is a chance that a “committee” of senior Democrats might go to Obama in a few months and tell him it might be best not to run for reelection. Who knows. At least the disappointment would be bi-partisan if that happened, with White House loyalists and the GOP both upset Obama wouldn’t be on the ballot in November.
Then Andrew Breitbart over at the Bigs has the same observation as Fund:
I predict a tectonic shift among American Jews and within the Democratic Party if Obama doesn’t quietly retire. All the spinning in the world can’t spin away the trend of Scott Brown, the Tea Party victory of November 2010, and now the Turner earthquake.
Many Democrats are awakening to the reality that their party has been hijacked by a radicalism completely unfamiliar to their parents’ and grandparents’ Democratic Party.
An internal, partisan civil war is now brewing in that party. What I think tonight is less important than what Joe Lieberman, Bill Clinton, Evan Bayh, and the rest of the former, and now defunct, reasonable wing of the Democratic Party is thinking tonight.

There is no doubt in my mind that Hillary will get the Democratic nomination and run for president. As proof, she has already stated that she would not run and will retire from politics. Only a person of Obama’s stature and accomplishments could turn her into a viable candidate. Next to him she looks like Eisenhower or Regan.
Unfortunately the Democrats have no one else that “Appears” to be competent even though she is almost as Progressive as Obama.

The article is not an ad hominem attack. Most of the article is simply a factual description of the current mood of some of the Democrats in congress. The only direct attack on Obama is:

I think that too many of those who loathe Obama & his clique, and who rejoice in his unpopularity under-rate the degree of criminality these people are prepared to engage in to retain power. Sure, we get the illustration. But that’s a low blow to those who WERE trapped inside the Alamo being used to illustrate Obama’s administration and the DNC.
Given Obama’s abusive disregard for the Constitution and his penchant for czars accompanied with Michelle’s over indulgences, that administration’s parasitic antipathy for America being rejected by Americans in mass is better illustrated by the fate of the Czar’s royal family or the fate that royalists suffered either during Cromwell’s Parliamentary War or during the French Revolution, or more recently the defeated NAZI implosion.
The one thing we have going for us is that Obama is delusional. As long as he still thinks he’ll win, he will not be capable of implementing any plot he has because his plan doesn’t reconcile with the reality needed to implement it.
He needs to forget the direction they were heading in and fix the problems that have been caused, only focus on fixing those problems. He needs to bring in people who are trusted and respected around the traps, a Doc Rice, Colin Powell and he needs to listen to what they advise him.
Same reason he had Gates around him for three years. They also need to separate the political for national interests which means you do not listen to David and David you listen to the people you bring in, that is what Bush did and why he was unpopular but the country was in better shape geopolitically than it is now.
So he should either quit or fire others around him starting at State, and bring people into to fix the messes that have been created.
You really make it appear so easy along with your presentation but I in finding this topic to be really one thing which I feel I’d never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely extensive for me. I’m having a look forward in your subsequent post, I’ll attempt to get the hang of it!
