PJ CEO Roger Simon is on the scene of tonight’s GOP debate and will be sending in photos and reports. Here’s a look at the press tent. Roger says there are already more press on hand than he has ever seen at a Reagan Library event before.
And here’s the Spin Room, before any spin has been spun.
Will Rick Perry maintain his frontrunner momentum? Will Mitt Romney realize he’s no longer the frontrunner? Will Ron Paul say something batty about foreign policy? Keep a browser window open here on the Tatler, on Vodkapundit for Stephen Green’s drunkblogging, and PJTV for our debate coverage.
Update: Live trucks outside what Roger says has “the most media since OJ.”
Update: Alexis Garcia and Tony Katz bring us some behind the scenes video:
And Roger talks with Mitt Romney adviser Robert O’Brien about what the Romney camp expects tonight:
Update: Now that we’re past the debate, the spin begins. Here’s Ed Rollins working the spin room for Michele Bachmann. Click to enlarge.

Is there a website where I can watch the debate live? Can’t seemto find a “live” feed on MSNBC.

Hi, there’s going to be a feed at this website apparently.

are the MSNBC talking heads going to explode when they step into this hallowed hall?
We can only hope.
Hell, there was a time when Roger L. Simon would have burst into flame from walking into the Reagan Library.
– reporters. Scribble, scribble, scribble, eh, Mr. Gibbon?
Roger looks exactly like my doctor, a man who has watched his life explode in his face, who cannot fathom that the reason his office help sucks is because they suck. Training, no matter how strenuous, will make no difference. They are just idiots. And lazy. I keep him on because I absolutely trust him on medical stuff, paticularly hospital stuff, when you really need a competant doctor; he sends me to specialists when he simply does not know, a valuable thing in a doctor. And the specialists are the best. And they all respect him.
So, he’s a wonderful doctor. Yet, his office is bad. This, of course, merely reinforces my own worldview. People who know how to market things seldom know how to do them. The ones who are expert in their fields, are poor businessmen, a seperate skill set. Stop and think; If you care for someone, you don’t lie to them. This is seldom popular. Just look at those cancer center commercials; they’re all about “listening”, and “respecting”. That means lying. If you have a sufficiently bad case of cancer, you die. They want to milk you, first. Lying pays. Honesty and competance has become a losing proposition. Just look at Obama.
Mad Men is the model. They can always figure out an angle. Why do we have “spin rooms”? Because people have been trained to be sold. Way back when, people were self-actualized. If they needed something, they sought it out, and bought, it. If not, they paid you no heed. Today, people are sold, and they buy. Stupid stuff. Stuff that makes no sense, whether they need it or not. People using food stamps buy tattoos, piercings, et al. Does that make any sense?
What a model for a civilization.
“Common sense” as a term has bad connotations. Many a fool has used it to certify his stupidity. We need to find another phrase, with which to identify the concept, as it truly is. “Common” is not enough. There must be “sense”.
Actually the term should be “Uncommon Sense” because so few people have it. My wife retired 4 years ago and when she mentioned casually to a businesswoman friend that she would like to work a few hours her friend said “When can you start?” See, my wife has “Uncommn Sense”
