What will Rep. Mike Pence do this week? Will he run for governor of his beloved state of Indiana, where he is as close to a sure bet as there is — in either party — in the upcoming 2012 race to replace Gov. Mitch Daniels? Or will he succumb to the sweet song of those bored due to the lack of active presidential campaigning across the nation, and toss his hat into the presidential ring?
This man has options: What’s your advice for him?

Mike, seize the moment! You are the best candidate to unite the diverse arms of the Republiacn Party.
There is a third route he could take-running in the IN Republican primary against that Poster-Child for Being in DC Too Long, Richard Lugar. It is high time we get a REAL Republican in that seat.
Whatever he chooses to do, I will vote for him.
Such a wonderful problem-so many true conservatives to choose from on the Presidential hopeful list. Just not Romney(too smarmy)or Huckabee (a nice enough chap-but I can’t see him handling “that 3AM call” all that well). But Pence, Daniels, Jindal, Ryan, Palin, Bachmann, etc etc…what a wish list!!!
America needs Mike Pences unique brand of conservative leadership now more than ever. This is the moment; now is the time. Conservatives across this country will join him in standing strong — if he runs for President.

Id say take the governorship. In 2016, with a GOP-controlled Congress, Obama will be leaving a depleted Democratic Party without an heir. 73-year old Vice President Joe Biden and 70-year old Secretary of State Clinton will be long past their sell-by dates. Governor Andrew Cuomo is a lightweight compared to his father, Senator Mark Warner makes Al Gore look charismatic, and Governor Deval Patrick is a watered down Obama without the speech making skills. None of these candidates measure up to the incumbent President in style or organizational skills.
Against these Dems, a Governor Pence could sweep to victory in 2016 with a mandate and a majority, if he can get past Bush III in the primaries.
I think he’d best serve his future political aspirations by running for governor. If his goal is to be President, he should have some major political experience, with executive experience best. At least four years in the governor’s office gives a politician concrete evidence of leadership. It allows one to say “I did that” much more than being in Congress.
I like Mike and would be amongst the folks urging him on to the Republican primaries if he had more/any relevant executive experience. Lacking that he would be a charismatic candidate with a hole in his resume and a big ? as to his ability to deliver. Take on the governship Mike and bide your time while fighting the good fight at the state level.
I agree. I urge everyone to go to http://www.TheConservativeChampion.org to sign the Declaration cheering Mike to run for President!
This is going to be one of the most important Presidential elections of our lives against President Obama, and there is really nobody else like Mike Pence!!
Congressman Mike Pence is the Strongest Reagan-Kemp pro-Jobs free market guy we have got in America. Jack Kemp anointed him his intellectual heir.
Pence was the first Congressman to stand up to Karl Rove to fight against the 2008 Wall Street bailouts (back when that was unpopular thing-to-do), he stands strong on national defense and fights Planned Parenthood tooth-and-nail! Principled, Christian and he has got a fine and crisp speaking-style!
WE need him in this race.
Major Conservative and Tea Party leaders like Dick Armey, Brent Bozell, Erick Erickson, Morton Blackwell, and others have all ENDORSED him.
America is facing a serious crisis and we need a smart, insightful, and a *true* Constitutionalist like Pence in the White House to make sure our beloved country stays strong and does not become some sort of second-world big government mess.
Again, I urge you to come to http://www.TheConservativeChampion.org to find out more about The Pence or sign our declaration cheering him on into the 2012 Race for the White House!
*WE need to make sure he gets IN this very crucial race.*
