Well, I’m agin Obama’s politics on almost every issue–but he’s a likeable guy, and seems like a decent person (can’t say the same for his main competitors in the primaries). That he would see through the faux-progressive pseudo-quasi Arafatism of his party’s left wing doesn’t surprise.
If he would pick the jihadi fellow-traveling of his party’s left wing as his “Sister Souljah Moment” –he would do a great thing.
For many years, American Jews have provided overwhelming financial support for Democratic politicians whose policies were harmful (or less helpful than the Republicans) to Israel’s interests. Why wouldn’t they do the same for Obama?
