Julie Burchill (neé Churchill) rips the British press a good one in Bleeding-Heart Ignoramuses. What do I mean by Norwich? Those who don’t know, click here.
It all goes back to Norwich

(er, that would be Burchill,Roger – though i like the freudian slip!)
Thanks… fixed… You know it’s not the first time I’ve done that with Burchill. Freudian, indeed.
Since her punk-rock beginnings at the New Musical Express, Birchill’s slanders of Americans as a race have been every bit as vile as those of every other Fleet Street creep. When will we Americans stop licking any British boot in hope that one won’t kick us?
Roger, you accidentally used the same url for the second link.
I suppose the least I could have done was spell this hypocrite’s name correctly, so I’m glad I didn’t.
Burchill insults everybody. Sometimes unfairly. But as time has gone on she seems to be becoming more and more sensible.

As far as I know she hasn’t slandered Americans (other than Hollywood celebs) for a long time. She’s been pro-American most of this decade. That’s probably why she and the Guardian parted ways.
Burchill today complains about Westerners not standing up to Islam. Yet it is feminists and other ex-leftists like Burchill who turned Westerners into spineless bleeding hearts in the first place. She attacks all signs of manhood until the subject of taking on Muslims comes up. Sorry Julie, but a feminized multicultural society must go if we’re to have half a chance against the jihadis.
Burchill (in Britain): “I’ve always loved being a hack, but now even that feels weird, as though I’m living among a bunch of snatched-body zombies who look like journalists but believe and say the most inhuman, evil things.”
I keep getting that feeling about Britain in various ways. It’s from watching that movie Life Force. Reading articles about incidents and trends in Britain these days, I keep being reminded of the scene where the hero visits the government’s central command post (outside a vampire-zombified London) only to discover at the last second that the afflicting syndrome has already spread throughout the post. I just said that at Lucianne.com just a few days ago, but not for the first time. I like saying it!
