A rabbi’s British secretary died in an Antwerp hospital after being shot in shot in the head outside his home today.
Prosecutor’s spokeswoman Dominique Reniers said father of five Moshe Naeh, 24, was shot once in the Belgian port’s Jewish district.
“We do not exclude any motive, but so far there are no indications that the motive was racist or extremist,” she said.
Reniers called the victim a “devout young man” who was shot from close range. He slumped on to the road, where he was discovered by passers-by who initially thought he was a road accident victim.
There were no witnesses to the shooting.

I’m trying to find a contact in the Antwerp Jewish community to see if some kind of fund has been set up for R. Ne’eh’s widow and orphans.
I stayed in Antwerp for a couple of days last time I was in Europe – I stayed in the mostly Jewish diamond district.
I met some British expats there in a bar who warned me about the local Arabs. They said it was common for young Arab men in groups to just spit and even physically assault whites at random. I didn’t see any of that myself, though I did notice a lot of Arabs. It was not a bit of wonder the “far-right” Vlaams Blok was the most popular party there. This party was recently forced to close down and rename itself because of a successful prosecution on “racism” charges – the Vlaams Blok was not shy about calling for deportations of Muslims. That is how the European elites would like to deal with any political parties that don’t except their suicidal worldview. So the question is: are they going to grow/borrow some cojones? Or will the country be controlled, through intimidation, by the Muslims?
There are enough Muslims, by traditional standards, to take over the government by force and then to rules.
All they need at this point is a leader and some organization.
The Netherlands might be more hospitable to Jews than, say, France. But how commendable is a “tolerant” population whose history in this department is as odious as the rest of occupied Europe during WWII? Correct me if I’m wrong.
It seems likely to me that the murder was done by Muslims, and the battle seems to be underway in Holland even if the Hollanders don’t know it. But Jews in Holland will not be bystanders in this drama. And that is a particularly nasty reward for quiet assimilation to a country which only sixty years ago was unfriendly to you but is today friendly to your worst enemies. Maybe this is why wine is in some places known as “Dutch Courage”.
Bob Bekel was on Hannity this afternoon and made a crack about the neo-cons and the two flags under which Wolfowitz and Co. serve, Israel and the United States. And Hannity didn’t ask the one question I wanted him to ask (as usual, sigh)- whats wrong with that ?
Isn’t Israel the only actual democracy in the Middle East ? Since when does the US not support democracy’s vs. practically any other ideology on earth? And when did folks like Bekel forget that ?
As an aside, did anyone see the reports of Al Queda’s torture chambers in Fallujah ? I hope the Bush folks took note of what waiting to go in cost us and the rest of the world. If there was one collossal blunder, as claimed there is by the MSM, in my mind, it was not leveling that place 8 months ago.
Its getting pretty obvious we’re damn good at killing terrorists in every type of situation you can think of and I wish the world would just let us lead for 4-5 years and once the majority of the big terrorists organizations had been broken, we’ll start figuring out a way we can hug the French again. It would be a much safer world.

meanwhile in Scotland, 15 year old Kriss Donald was stabbed, beaten, and then burned alive by attackers that are clearly Muslims despite the fact that the BBC declines to state that fact and the Guardian tries to hide it by calling them “Asians”.
