Visits to this site were at a new high for September:

17,326 average visitors per day (up nearly 5,000 from August) for a monthly total visits of 520,099 (first time over half million in one month).

689,608 daily hits; 20,698,260 hits for the month (And I didn’t feel one of them. Boy, can I take a punch).

118 total countries – also a new record. (Evidently we are not blocked by Saudi Arabia… but there is not a lot of interest, to put it mildly. BTW, there were 99 hits from Cambodia. Does that mean we were there?)

Just out of curiosity, I wonder how many unique visitors you get from China? I think there are about 100,000 expats here, and they’re not all leftists (by the way, neither are all Chinese, though it’s a bit hard for them to have much of a voice).

    Cheers,

    Sam

    A scene from Cambodia…

“Chanthavy, can’t you leave that computer for ten minutes anymore!”

“But, Boran, look at this. I found a blog…”

“You have found many blogs, that is the problem.”

“But look here, Boran. On this one they talk endlessly about the tall one with the hair and long chin…”

    “Jay Leno?”

“No no no… The other one. The one who was here on Christmas eve in ’68!”

“HIM! The one everybody was shooting at?!? He’s alive still?”

“Yes, Yes! That one! He’s running for President of the United States!”

“The hand of God truly favors idiots. How could we all have missed?”

“We must call Mittapheap. He won’t believe this.”

Interesting question, Sam. The reporting I get on foreign countries via Webalizer is somewhat mysterious because the vast number of sites are “unresolved,” coming through proxies. Chinese hits are rather miniscule: 5776 – Taiwan; 287 – Hong Kong ; 76 – China. I doubt these represent anywhere near all. By comparison, Netherlands – 50699 (a country where this site is popular).

    Bah,

Who cares about insignificant countires like China. How many Slovakians are visiting the site?

Uh oh. Does this mean “he’s real big in Europe?” (Old music industry putdown).

    Seriously, good on you, Roger!

  6. Roger: just remember some of us were country when country wasn’t cool…

You might not be blocked in SA, but I was at the Watermark in San Antonio, signed up for their internet, and you were, along w/LGF and Dailypundit.

Rantburg, tho, wasn’t blocked, go figure.
