The State Department Invertbrate embrace of the Muslim Brotherhood
Andy McCarthy has a long, fascinating, and depressing piece on the case of State Department aide Huma Abedin, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the “coziness” of many U.S. politicians with an ideology that is inveterately in opposition to democratic capitalism and the individual liberty on which it rests.
Who’s Huma? You remember:
Ms. Abedin has been an aide since she interned at the White House in 1996 and was assigned to the then–first lady’s staff. The family tie for which she is best known is her husband, Anthony Weiner, the New York Democrat who resigned from Congress in disgrace last year. But it is Ms. Abedin’s parents and brother who have drawn the attention of the five House GOP members [Michele Bachmann (Minn.), Louie Gohmert (Texas), Trent Franks (Ariz.), Tom Rooney (Fla.), and Lynn Westmorland (Ga.)]. They all have connections to the Muslim Brotherhood — the organization itself or prominent members thereof.
Raised eyebrow time? Not if you’re Senator “Maverick,” John I-Was-in-a-North-Vietnam-Prison-Camp McCain.
For pointing this out and merely asking the State Department’s inspector general to look into it and report back to Congress — which is part of the IG’s duties under the statute that created his position — McCain & Co. (i.e., his fans in the left-wing media and his admirers in the Republican establishment) are screaming “smear” and “McCarthyism.” McCain’s antipathy toward conservatives (except during election years) is an old story. And it is no secret that he has long been smitten by Mrs. Clinton, whose transnational-progressive leanings mirror his own.
That’s it in one.
But here’s the 64,000 question:
In light of Ms. Abedin’s family history, is she someone who ought to have a security clearance, particularly one that would give her access to top-secret information about the Brotherhood? Is she, furthermore, someone who may be sympathetic to aspects of the Brotherhood’s agenda, such that Americans ought to be concerned that she is helping shape American foreign policy?
[Cue them song from Jeopardy . . . .]
Did you answer, “Hell no” to the first question and “Absolutely” to the second? Proceed to the head of the class.
Andy proceeds to provide a partial but alarming inventory of ways in which the Obama administration has demonstrated its friendliness to the Muslim Brotherhood (whose explicit ultimate goal, remember, is to wage a “grand jihad” to destroy the United States). Andy focuses his ire on Senator “The Vacillaotr” McCain. But as one looks at that behavior this administration and its State Department, it is clear that there is plenty of disapprobation to go around. Yet, as Andy notes, “Some of us . . . really are ‘unalterably opposed’ to the Muslim Brotherhood. The five House conservatives are asking questions to which the State Department’s own guidelines, to say nothing of common sense, demand answers. Answers not just about Huma Abedin but, far more significantly, about the government’s policy toward virulently anti-American Islamists. Americans deserve nothing less — even if the usual GOP spaghetti spines would prefer to give them nothing, period.”

At the risk of invoking well known Washington tittle-tattle one might point to the means (it is rumored) that Mrs Weiner is thought to have taken to ingratiated herself with her sponsor. It wouldn’t be the first time in history that someone has been invited into high counsels using such a strategy. Could the Muslim Brotherhood insert an agent high into the US government using such a method? Can such a thing even be considered?
No of course not. We are not invited to observe reality and deduce facts from other facts, but must go with the reality as presented by media.
I don’t blame Andy for not bringing That up by the way, but it is something worth thinking about.
I do not believe a majority of Americans support the American governments actions. The government has been attacking States for enforcing laws, running up debt, getting more people on welfare, and supporting Israel’s enemies like the Muslim Brotherhood.
November needs to get here quick.
When a competent, pro-American administration comes to power, how long, if ever, will it take to remove the vermin that have purposefully and patiently infiltrated our system?
Has anyone claimed to be the Mahdi, yet?
Obama apparently is up for both Mahdi AND Christ!
Does that mean he must kill himself?
You know… noone ever sees the actual End of Time. “Of the time and place, even the Son of Man knows not” or, perhaps, “Woe unto them with babes at the breast, for it shall be hard on them”.
Are you ready?
“Hi, Big J! Yeah, I have a few explanations…What? You never heard of the Fifth Amendment?”
But is she fasting…?
=======================
Whenever “Islam” or its various manifestations is discussed in the US press, I shake my head in exasperation. The case of Huma Abedin is a perfect example:
1. Let’s begin with her last name: Abedin is a contraction of the Arabic abd-al-Deen meaning “Servant of the Religion (Islam)” similar to the way the the eponymous name “Abdullah” means “Servant of Allah”. (Actually, “abd” really means “slave”….a distinction with major differences….just so you know).
2. She is Pakistani (regardless of her Michigan birth). That means she is not Arab. Both her parents were also Pakistani. The fact that her father was able to secure employment in the magic Kingdom (Saudi Arabia) means they are Sunni Muslims. (Were they Shia, forget it).
3. But she married a Jew. For all intents and purposes, therefore, she renounced Islam and her entire Pakistani background. She may call herself Muslim, but she really isn’t.
Ramadan (the period of fasting and so forth) has just begun throughout Islamdom. But is Huma fasting? Is she praying 5 times a day? Is she doing any of the many rituals required of Muslims, strict or not, during this period? I doubt it.
4. I don’t doubt for a minute that she speaks Urdu (the language of Pakistan and totally unrelated to Arabic). After all, that’s her familial background. But does she really speak Arabic? Unless she went to local schools in Jeddah as a child – an extremely unlikely event – her Arabic must be extremely limited. (Most expats in the magic Kingdom would rather contract leprosy than send their children to local Saudi schools).
5. The Muslim Brotherhood is an Arab and specifically an Egyptian group. How
a Pakistani family with only limited Arab experience and loyalty might end up having a “connection” to this group is unclear. In fact, it’s rather unbelievable.
Although seldom admitted, there are clear lines of demarcation among Muslims. Arab Muslims are at the top. Everyone else, including Pakstanis, are definitely not in the same category as Arabs. That a Pakistani would be included in the ranks of the “Muslim Brotherhood” is, as I said, extremely unlikely. (After all, they can’t even speak the same language and would have to resort to English to communicate).
I could go on, but you get my point. Ms Abedin (or is it Mrs. Weiner?) is being completely mischaracterized publically. That’s because most reporters (and senators) in the US don’t even know what to ask about her. It’s truly laughable.
Since the last and most profound of the writings of “the prophet” direct all “faithful” Muslims to LIE, CHEAT, and STEAL their way into the good graces of their enemy (if necessary), how can anyone EVER trust a Muslim? Unless, of course, they are a “former” Muslim – which means they wear a bulls eye (marked for death). The writings are literally permission – NO, not just permission, it reads more like a methodology to add to the tool box of the agile Jihadi. It describes in clear terms that is it OK TO LIE (even to a fellow Muslim, but only if needed) to get inside the enemy’s gates, and build their trust as you quietly sharpen your sword. I trust NO Muslim, nor should our government. It should be a “no brain-er” since they are under this edict from their highest authority (the big ‘M’ himself). LIE LIE LIE. And lie they do, lie they will, lie they have. Take “the Bin Laden affair” for example: He was ‘HIDDEN’ by the Pakistan Government, or their Military or their secret security service, but either way, a LARGE number of them knew where he was (and our Administration turned in the “Good Dr.” we had on the inside – who will be killed for sure, which I am willing to bet is BETTER than a Paki prison). And they LIED TO US (for years). So Paki or not, our sweet little Mata Hari and her Under-Wear Model-Tweeting hubby should not be trusted with US secrets – PERIOD (if we have ANY left when these Marxists are gone – if we can get rid of them at all). Islam IS IS IS Islam, and it threatens real freedom no matter the origin of the genes. I think it is time for a new party. Once that understands the REAL value of Freedom and will not elect Fair-Weather-Election-year-Heroes and their little Southern-Graham-Cracker Side Kicks. And I think we can make the case to GUT both the Democrat and Republican ranks, if we set it up correctly, and communicate the plank intelligently, and show them what happens to what is left of our nation, if they DON’T help us by joining. If this election does not go well, I am sure that a CON-CON may be our last and only possible resort to get the Roaches out of the kitchen. Literally.

On Ramadhan
————
Our distinguished audience may be interested in some Ramadan facts:
1. Because Islam uses the Lunar calendar, the Holy Month of Ramadan can occur at any month of the year. So in another 10 years or so, it will fall around December give or take.
2. This particular Ramadan is going to be a particularly unpleasant month for our Muslim brethern. After all, the prohibition against ingesting any food OR LIQUID is from sunrise to sunset.
I don’t know when the July sun rises in the Washington DC area (where I guess Ms. Abedin lives), but it’s quite early, I believe. Here in the upper MidWest, it occurs around 5 a.m. BUT IT DOESN’T SET UNTIL ABOUT 16 HOURS LATER, around 9 p.m. That means abstaining from any sustenance for 16 hours a day!. (No sex either, by the way).
3. Ramadan by the way, is an old Arabic word meaning “The Scorcher” – now you know why.
How all this affects Ms Abedin, I don’t know. But I suspect it doesn’t affect her at all.
Obama’s regime is not ignorant or incompetent. They know full well who the Muslim Brotherhood are. The fact is, Obama and his minions support the goals of the Muslim Brotherhood. As Obama himself said, he will “stand with the Muslims.”
Clearly, his personal history as a child in Indonesia and decades’ long attendance at Wright’s semi-Christian/semi-Muslim church has made him culturally Muslim
There are 4 other Muslim Brotherhood appointees in our government.
Arif Alikahn appointed by President Obama to the Dept of Homeland Security Assistant secretary for Policy Development
Mohamed Elibiary appointed by President Obama to the Homeland Security Advisory Committee
Rashad Hassan appointed by President Obama to the State Dept as a Special Envoy to Organization of Islamic Cooperation
Ebil Patel appointed by President Obama to the Advisory Council of the White House Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships
