Britain’s Center for Social Cohesion Can’t Get the American Media to Pay Attention
The Center for Social Cohesion, a distinguished British think tank, has just released a major expose of the radical Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT), which is targeting the West, “including the United States, and (which) supports violent jihad.” Britain has just suspended government support for some HT nursery and primary schools which function to indoctrinate unsuspecting Muslim children into dreaming of a global caliphate.
And yes, they veil the little, little girls at ever-younger ages. Well-meaning parents who themselves may not be religiously well-versed may believe that what this group does, represents “authentic” rather than dangerously “radical” Islam.
According to the Center, “last month, President Obama’s faith advisor, Dalia Mogahed, legitimized HT’s claims that the majority of Muslims support the group’s political vision when she spoke alongside HT’s women’s representative on a UK television programme.” My colleague, Cinammon Stillwell, wrote about this. Mogahed did say that she had no idea that a representative of HT would be on the program. This might be true, but Mogahed could have walked off the set—or spent the time challenging HT’s radical agenda.
Douglas Murray, the Center’s Director, has sent this new and alarming report to every American wire service. So far, none have picked it up. He cannot understand why—given that it has received wide and serious attention in Britain.
I myself am not surprised. An American news article for which I was interviewed, and which criticized Mogahed’s appearance (which is not what I talked about), was killed at the last minute—after which, within minutes, an interview with Mogahed appeared in US News and World Report which rebutted, glossed over, minimized and “spun” every point made in the article which never ran.

Up here in Canada it took a change in government from the Liberals to the Conservatives to list the Tamil Tigers as a terrorist group. I suspect the same is true regarding why the Dems do not want HT listed as a terrorist group. Namely, they find it convenient not to do so.

How very curious that HT forbids British Muslims from voting. It is not surprising that they disapprove of voting, but one can use one’s vote to try to end the right to vote. Hitler was elected by a plurality–not a majority–and then ended voting for the remainder of his life.
We have all seen photographs of Iraqis with dyed finger tips proudly showing that they had voted, and then learning that at least some of these people were murdered for having done so. But in Britain, there must be districts with Muslim majorities where jihadists might get elected and then function as legal members of the government. Anti-Israel Muslims have been elected to the Knesset in Israel, so why couldn’t this happen in Britain?
George, for the reason that I communicated earlier in the day on the blog of a newscaster from my home town: The Sons of Allah see that we are different, and therefore wrong, and our influence is deadlier than the H1N1 flu virus.
We, who are not Muslim, are outsiders. Outsiders are not allowed to influence those on the inside. Think of how the Democrats demonize those like Sarah Palin. They see she is different, therefore wrong, and for her to change the minds of people who are Democrats, or leaning towards voting Democrat, this is something that is not permitted.
Last “dot” about Hizb ut-Tahrir, according to the mentioned Report, shows (me) that this “Party” has nothing different than any other kind of “Islamic wing”. Mosque are places where that message is either softly or “straight on” spread: mosque are not (just) a place for praying, but a sort of place where the whole community, united by a same global mentality, meets and remembers to itself what they aims are. It is a community MENTALLY united, more than phisical (off topic: about phisicity we all know how “aparthaider” they are). Imams are (Islamic) people among others, which just “take the disturb” to remember to everyone else how their (mandatory) goal is (keeping in mind that an Islamic person isn’t supposed to undependantly think, enquire, reason. He/she has to mentally blindly follow whatever that Allah and his Muhammad – or that Muhammad and his Allah – said, did, considering those words and deeds as perfect – no matter how much evidence there is, and how many evidences there are, about their unperfection). The only difference I see “in Islam”, is between Islamic people (considering themselves “radicals”, “moderates”, “ex-”, “now atheists”, …, doing anything to protect Islam and the Islamic community, without true recognition and respect of others), and clearly and publically apostates of Islam.
About the West, exactly how it already happened in Iran, Islamists and COMMUNISTS match together in order to destroy Democracy and (personal) Freedom(s), in order to establish an Elite which will rule the whole (human) Community. The goal is practically to have people obeying to a precise “Phylosophy”, “Ideology”, (metaphorically) like puppets move according to the puppeteer (call it “the God” or “the Party”): the very misfortune for everyone of us is that this (self proclaimed) Elite ISN’T ENLIGHTENED at all (it wasn’t and still not be – therefore most probably won’t ever be -).
I agree with last paragraphs of David (Nov 3, 5:25): we are anyway (considered) “Outsiders” (even if – “ironically” – we are in our own Countries), or if you like “Infidels”, which (for them) means “Ignorants” – unable to suggest anything suitable, intelligent, human, divine, enlightened, … -, and therefore our voices aren’t taken into consideration at all. So, (metaphorically) what is there to say to a deaf, or how to communicate with an autistic person? (…). He/she will go on doing whatever he/she feels and want, without considering YOUR opinion/wishes/privacy/…, which means, WITHOUT RESPECTING YOU, as an individual (in Islam see “gender Apartheid”, too), as a human, as a private and undependant entity, which is free to live and to know and express him/herself.
This president is a sexist as is the general left. He embraces Muslim ideology and has all the left rationalizations for the practices of Islam. BO hired a Muslim who justifies sharia as his “advisor” in the white house and therefore is himself funding terror against women. He has shamed and neutralized Hillary Clinton who was made to apologize for a factual statement about Israel which Hammas resented. BO directed Clinton to gut all the Condi Rice State Dept liberation programs designed to assist oppressed women in Afghanistan and Iraq. Clinton eliminated those programs and replaced them with nothing. I believe this is designed to eliminate contacts with these women and silence women when we throw them to the Taliban wolves. Women ignore all this to get medical care and abortion. Did we? We got mandated purchase of insurance to fund the bloated insurance kings at the cost of the Medicaid/Medicare program and a male designed medical program which excludes abortion.

And they’re correct. There is NO SUCH THING as “Radical” Islam… There is only Islam. If you read the Koran and the Hadith, you’d know this.

I started noticing this in the 80′s when some
started crusading against the long-defunct Nazis
while making kissy-face to Communists who were still alive, kicking and well-armed.
In recent years this trend has reached somewhat alarming, if not pathological proportions. Normal people are to be screamed at and denounced and maybe actually persecuted
for trivial reasons while sociopaths and psychopaths are given a free pass. The reason is that the former are harmless and the latter are dangerous.
At the top? Well, love him or hate him, it would be next to impossible to deny that The Man From Midland had a backbone of steel. His successor seems to be composed of lesser material.

If cowardice were only true…
Remember the maxim? “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
The enemies of freedom find one thing in common – they are enemies of freedom. They defend each other for the sole purpose of destroying freedom. Fascism (oops, I went and said the passé word), whether in the form of Islam or in the form of secular humanism still has in common the creation of a single-party state that forbids freedom of all kinds, and blames capitalism for all of society’s ills.
Many claim to adhere to the “third way” which supposedly lies somewhere between communism and capitalism, yet in the end tyranny is tyranny and those who love freedom suffer and die.
So for those who love freedom the flip side of that maxim should be remembered, “The friend of my enemy is my enemy.”
What else is new about America’s so-called media? Let’s see, let us count the important stories they have ignored over the past twenty years. Oh, forget it, there are too many of them to count.
