It’s from Sueddeutsche Zeitung, citing a “new IAEA summary.”  The article is in German. Here’s a translation:

“Iran has developed a nuclear warhead, according to an article in the German newspaper “Sueddeutsche Zeitung”. A foreigner alleged to have helped Iran towards developing nuclear weapons is from the former Soviet Union…The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has already mentioned the employment of a foreigner in the nuclear programme.

Quoting a new IAEA summary, the Suddeutsche said the scientist had previously worked in a Soviet nuclear weapons laboratory on advanced warheads. It said both western intelligence services and diplomats had confirmed the connection.

The newspaper added that Iran was trying to make a nuclear weapon small enough to fit into one of its Shahab 3 medium-range missiles and was designing a so-called two-point implosion system, which requires only two simultaneously exploding detonators to trigger a nuclear blast.

The former Soviet scientist was an expert on the high-speed cameras needed to test if both detonations were symmetrical, and had worked for Iran from the mid-1990s till 2000.

Somebody better tell Director of National Intelligence Blair, who testified this week that the Iranian regime had not yet decided to produce nuclear weapons.

I doubt the US government under non-leadership of Obama cares at all about Iran or any other foreign policy hot spots. They are just at it to socialize the medicine over there and destroy the American power, military and society. It’s scary how the US government has vacated its role as the leader of the free world. Totally scary!

Two things. There are those who say, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” Then there are those who believe to see.

Secondly, there are those who see, who want to see. Then there are those who do not want to see, and they tend not to see.

Guess which describes the deformed souls, reprobates, scalawags, and other assorted ilk with their paws on the levers of power, inside the Beltway?

A Soviet nuclear scientist has been working with Iran since the mid-1990s?

    Just one?

An Iranian nuclear weapon means nuclear war is just around the corner. All that remains to be seen is who will strike first- Israel or Iran.

  7. 7. aaron

4 dan: Around 2001 I believe they had hired about 7,000 of their bio/chemical weapon scientists, who had “disappeared” from the USSR post/collapse only to end up with lucrative contracts in Iran. I’m sure there were more…

    Allow me to ask:
if there is in fact Iranian nuke,
why haven’t Ahmadinejad & company screamed it out loud to the world at large? This is the thing that could save them after all, if true.

It would immediately motivate the UN and the EUnuchs to make any concession the current government asks for, in return for a promise not to spread nukes to you-know-who. And while I can’t imagine the Obamanauts aiding the Green revolution, I believe they’d cheerfully help tamp it down- an Iranian nuke would create a need for “detente” and “stability”, you see.

If that gang had a genuine nuclear warhead card to play, they wouldn’t hesitate.

This can’t be right. Weren’t we mutually assured all Iran wants is nuclear power?

Oops… just realized what the meaning of is is.

Thanks Michael, it is very important information. I hope that the humiliating defeat policy-makers, and those wimps who claim that they are interesting in high-risk issues not to ignore such valuable information.

All know that the National Intelligence Estimate report during the administration of Mr. President George W. Bush, says “that Iran was indeed operating a covert nuclear-weapons program up to the fall of 2003.” At the time, Iranian opposition group revealed the existence of a covert Iranian nuclear program to mill and enriches uranium and produce heavy water at sites previously unknown to U.S. intelligence. The NIE also claimed that Iran suspended weapons-related activities in 2003. No doubt they suspended those activities only thanks to using the Hard Power against Saddam Hussein’s regime to prevent it of production of WMD.

Most obviously, the Mullahs of Iran are very excelling at deception, where they claimed that they were cooperating with the international community. The former Iranian president, Mr. Mohammad Khatami, who is known for his proposal of dialogue among civilizations, was declared on Aug. 4, 1997 “We are in favor of a dialogue between civilizations and a detente in our relations with the outside world.” of course the theory gained him a lot of international support. But rather than integrate itself into the family of nations, the leader of dialogue among civilizations, Mr. Khatami and the theocratic leadership in Iran they served invested the oil revenues in covert quest for the bomb according to the NIE’s report that its key judgments were declassified and released by the office of the Director of National Intelligence.

On the other hand, the U.S quite knows that Iran has extensive technical information on how to fit a warhead atop a ballistic missile, and also the NIE stressed that Iran has the scientific, technical and industrial capacity to produce nuclear weapons “a nuclear program existed at least?!” therefore, most very likely Iran has nuclear warhead “un-suspected”, as the Soviet physicist reported!!!
At present, the Iranian regime continues to enrich uranium while refusing to allow the kind of intrusive and thorough inspections that would allow the international community to test its claim that it seeks nothing but electricity or peaceful energy.
So, the U.S. intelligence services should reconsider its predictions in high-risk issues and NOT absolves -the Mullahs regime and any despotized regime- of evil intent!!!

Yeah, this is disinformation. It costs nothing to plant, yet might cause some people to “think twice.”

The same reason the US government doesn’t deny having an “earthquake machine.”

It costs nothing, yet might casue people to “think twice.”

Keep in mind that the US developed the “neturon bomb ” (or tried) . . . well the Iranians have been working on the “Neutrino Bomb” . . . don’t worry . . . when it explodes no one will even know it. LOL

That is the Obama level of appreciation for the Iranian Nuclear Weapons Program.

actually what iran does have and just put in space was a microwave telecomunications satellite with the help from russian scientists put out of work during the ronald reagan era, my old friends explained it to me that it approaches an american satellite handling cell phone calls descrambling the software and on completion the iran satellite clones the american satellite then taking its place and disabling the latter, then with pre-recorded voice patterns and prior cell phone records from hacking internet the microwave beam is loaded with radio-active electrons that pass thru repeaters to desired targets for eventual elimination

    Sir,
Iran should have Nuclear weapons for its defense. Just imagine they are disarmed like Saddam Hussein and what happened to Saddam after he disarmed. The world we live in is wicked. The Americans and the Israelis with the EU want to control the world, at least it looks like that. 9/11 should not have been carried out without state level help. And I believe Osama has no capability at all to do that. Then, who did that. It is obvious. Anyone in Iran’s shoes will feel threatened especially the US and Israel threatens its often enough. Who started the sanctions against Iran? Everything was done by the West. Now you have to live with a well armed Iran. No way out. The west is fully responsble for Iran’s nuclear weapons. This is what I believe sincerely.
