Infographic: Moms and Dads Sound Off About Balancing Work and Family

Did you know that for the first time in America, in nearly half (46 percent) of two-parent households, both parents work full-time?

It’s less clear whether working parents are as satisfied with the fruits of their labors, and the results frequently vary.

One common theme among all mothers, whether working full-time, part-time, or “only” at raising their kids: all feel like they are rushing. Meanwhile, about half of dads think they aren’t logging sufficient time with their kids.

A recent Pew Research Center survey compiled the data in a document titled “Raising Kids and Running a Household: How Working Parents Share the Load.” We’ve broken some of it down for PJ readers with this infographic:
