Obama Passes Conservative Blogosphere Full Employment Act

“Source: Obama has chosen John Kerry as Secretary of State.”
If true, as I wrote the other day, the sixties are now complete: A president supported by an ex-Weatherman and the New Black Panthers might as well have a Winter Soldier in his cabinet for the complete Radical Chic Meets Geritol experience. If only Leonard Bernstein was still around to savor the moment.
Update: “A while ago, The Daily Caller reported that, as a student at Columbia University, Eric Holder participated in an armed takeover of the University’s former ROTC office.”

So do you think Tom Wolfe will sue for copyright infringement or hang up his white suit an call it a day?
Not quite complete. We still need a peace activist as Minister of Defense, and a Czar for Public Safety to keep the opposition in check. Then we’ll have it all.
Lurch as SoS, eh? Sure, why not? Hard to beat Ms. Clinton’s, um, record. That cork-popping you just heard is echoing from Tehran to Beijing, Moscow, the West Bank …
Mr. Obama sure knows how to cover his bases — and secure enough in his lame duck term to avoid appeasing what’s left of the Clintonistas (again). Probably also figured getting another senator elected in MA is a cakewalk: Taxachusetts reverted to form so badly this year they went for “Fauxcahontas” Warren.
Well, given what Barokeydoke’s grandfather did in Kenya back in the 50′s,the boy is perfect for “mau mauing” Wolfe’s “flak catchers”…the irony is so thick you can cut it with a knife
There are days when I feel like a member of the Donner party reviewing what ( or who ) is on the menu for Sunday Dinner in mid December. Its not that the pickings are thin, its that we have so long to go before the grass grows again.
Its going to be a long 4 years kids.
Let the Jokes begin, beginning with the biggest joke of all, John ( I swear I was in Cambodia for Xmas) Kerry.
Haht cha cha cha!!
I wonder if we’ll finally get to see Lurch’s special hat.
I’ll settle for his DD214….
And Ralph Nader to head NHTSA.
Ummm… nobody’s protesting anything?

Shouldn’t that be “Ché Ché Ché?”
What people seem to forget is that the citizens of Massachusetts KEEP SENDING HIM BACK TO WASHINGTON.
It would be easy to laugh if this guy were some unemployed Marxist radical mooching off his well to do family or was “employed” by a foundation that had been captured and subverted by Marxists.
In other words, it would be easy to laugh if he were a nobody that our Communist in chief had lifted from obscurity and tried to shoehorn into this position.
But no…the guy is a freaking SENATOR
The virtue of elected government is that we the people eventually get the government we deserve. Elections have consequences, and not just at the national level. That school board election that you’ve been ignoring. Guess what, it matters.
So much psychic effort is focused on Obama by conservatives right now that we forget that he’s just one dude. He’s the president right now, but he’s merely one member of an expansive cadre of Marxist subversives that have convinced large segments of the public to vote them into office. Our nightmare didn’t begin with Obama and it won’t end when he leaves office.
So while it is shocking to many of us that someone like John Kerry would be selected by anyone as Secretary of State, we mustn’t forget that at least to the people living in his neck of Massachusetts he’s considered a respectable statesman. That battle, and the other battles just like it across our nation, are the fights that we must engage in and win if this nation is to have a future.
Obama isn’t the disease, he’s just the symptom.
I, unfortunately, have to agree with Lee’s comment above completely. This has pretty much been my depressing conclusion since the election. We do, indeed, get the government which we deserve, and the majority of voters deserve Obama, his henchmen, and their loathsome ideology. In thinking about it, this is just the natural result of the past 40 years of our culture and educational system. Let me hasten to add that I am a retired teacher (35 years in the classroom), and just about every teacher I have known is a kind, decent person who would never dream of politically indoctrinating their students. It’s just that everything in the culture subtly pushes the message of leftism: “if political equality under the law is good, then equality in ALL things, including results and income, is even better!” This sounds so fair, so reasonable, especially to a young person. This is the battle that we face, and it will be a long, difficult, and painful slog. I just hope enough people are up for it.
The catsup king is definitely a disease, which you will catch if you eat Heinz. As Ann Coulter says, MA is between blue and North Korea.
I read somewhere on TheNet that the Heinz company’s political donations this go-round went primarily to Republicans. Who knew?
