Oh I don’t know, Truman redlined the Godwin Meter against Dewey; he would have pulled out any other stops if they were available to him back then.
Yet another reminder that even if Obama does win in November, like Truman, he’ll be seriously damaged goods in his second term.
“… he’ll be seriously damaged goods in his second term …”
It may be … but it won’t matter … he’ll do much more damage than will have been on himself — because of his newly achieved “flexibility.”
He’s already shown he doesn’t give a fig for laws or balance of powers — or the will of the people — He’ll do exactly what he wants — for as long as he can get away with it — the rest of us be damned as far as he’s concerned.
The Presidency is an extremely powerful position — some say the most powerful in the world.
