We choose to fight global warming. Err, climate change. We choose to fight global warming — err, climate change in this decade and do the other things, not because they are hard, but because they are easy, because that goal will serve to protect our bureaucracy without having to actually accomplish anything, because that lack of challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to waste plenty of time on, to protect our phony-baloney jobs.
Actually going back to the moon? Ehh, not so much.

One of my character traits for liberals is: THEY DO NOTHING
To illustrate this, they create phony problems then set about to solve them. Much activity around solving bogus probems, no risk in that as you have FULL CONTROL.
How easy is that? You invent the problem then busy yourself with solving it, not ever having to worry about the dynamics of reality and cause and effect. Shows you are serious about issues. Oh and there is this, as a bonus? … taxation, to FUND the solution process. SHAM-WOW!! You gotta see this folks!
Global warming comes to mind. Heh

It seems we don’t have a “special relationship” with the moon either. Must be because it revolves around the earth and not merely around Obama. It also dares to reflect the sun’s brilliance rather than that of the Sun King himself, and has a real, quantifiable as opposed to self-delusional, effect on sea levels.
obama has effectively CANCELED the future of the US.
