Stuart Taylor of the National Post seems surprised at “Obama’s Left Turn.” But Peter Robinson, Ed Morrissey, Mark Steyn, Rush Limbaugh, and just about everyone else on the right who aren’t worried about being seated in Siberia at 21 aren’t exactly shocked by this development.

Sounds simple … so why didn’t many voters do just that?

Whatever happened to Autan Goolsby? Remember him? Oh my goodness, are you compelled to Google his name? Megan McArdle and other libertarians went crazy when the University of Chicago and somewhat libertarian economist jumped on the Obama bandwagon. By the way, this is the same guy who told the Canadian government officials that Obama was essentially lying to the blue-collar yahoos in Ohio. The then presidential candidate supposedly had no real interest in enacting protectionist legislation. I have not heard Goolsby’s name mentioned even once since the election. Did the Martians abduct him?
Isn’t Megan one of those old celibate broads like Althouse who fell for the skinny messiah? Celibacy always drives men insane, apparently women aren’t immune.
