UN, After Defending Hamas, Demands Demilitarization to End Sexual Violence

The United Nations (UN), after defending Hamas and refusing to acknowledge that its own employees participated in horrific sexual violence, is calling for demilitarization—to stop sexual violence.

The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) was exposed for not only having a significant number of employees with ties to Hamas but also multiple employees who actively participated in the Oct. 7 atrocities. Yet the UN Security Council just had the unmitigated chutzpah to denounce “conflict-related sexual violence” as if its own people weren’t tied to that very crime against Israelis.

The UN issued a short April 26 press release: “Security Council Concludes Debate on Preventing Conflict-Related Sexual Violence through Demilitarization, Gender-Responsive Arms Control.” The majority of the UN Security Council recently voted to recognize “Palestine” as a UN Member State, with the U.S. being the only dissenting vote that blocked the resolution’s adoption. A nation of “Palestine” has never existed, and the Arabs now calling themselves “Palestinians” are controlled largely by Hamas and partly by the Palestinian Authority (PA). The former is a terrorist group that has vowed to destroy Israel, and the latter financially incentivizes and rewards terrorism. Yet the UN Security Council, which supports these radicals, is lecturing about conflict and de-militarization?

The Security Council met this afternoon to conclude its debate on the theme “Preventing conflict-related sexual violence through demilitarization and gender-responsive arms control”.  Its first meeting on the debate was held on 23 April 2024.  Today, it heard from the remaining speakers.

The above very brief babble-fest from the UN is pure and unadulterated hypocrisy—which is a hallmark of the UN. You see, at least 23% of UNRWA’s male employees have Hamas ties, and about half of all UNRWA employees have close relatives with jihadi ties. Perhaps it’s not surprising, considering how consistently and aggressively the UN sides with the Palestinians against Israel. Even more starkly, there is evidence that Hamas has essentially infiltrated and now controls UNRWA in Gaza.

Indeed, the situation is so corrupt that international human rights lawyer Hillel Neuer accused UNRWA of being “terrorism-infested.” The attorney has extensive documentation to support his arguments, as he has been reporting on UNRWA terror ties for nine years. Israel’s Defense Minister accused 12 UN staffers of active participation in the horrific Oct. 7 attack on Israelis, while around 30 more staffers participated in such activities as looting and taking hostages.

On Oct. 7, there were many reports of egregious sexual violence. Yet the UN just closed five of the UNRWA Oct. 7 cases, claiming insufficient evidence, and has yet to make any meaningful effort to address UNRWA’s Hamas infestation! From the BBC (warning: graphic):

Several people involved in collecting and identifying the bodies of those killed in the attack told us they had seen multiple signs of sexual assault, including broken pelvises, bruises, cuts and tears, and that the victims ranged from children and teenagers to pensioners.

Video testimony of an eyewitness at the Nova music festival, shown to journalists by Israeli police, detailed the gang rape, mutilation and execution of one victim.

Videos of naked and bloodied women filmed by Hamas on the day of the attack, and photographs of bodies taken at the sites afterwards, suggest that women were sexually targeted by their attackers.

The UN knows this full well because a UN report confirmed the sexual violence!

This is what Islamic terrorists have done for centuries. They rape, mutilate, and murder women. Raping and killing non-Muslims is, in fact, endorsed by Islamic scriptures. Unfortunately, it also appears to be endorsed by the UN—the same UN that falsely pretends to care about sexual violence.
