Sununu: 'I Wish This President Would Learn How to be an American'

In an on-the-record conference call with bloggers and reporters today, former NH Gov. John Sununu blasted away at President Obama. The Romney surrogate tore into the president’s demotivating remarks to business, saying “I wish this president would learn how to be an American.” Sununu quickly clarified his remarks, saying “The president has to learn the American formula for creating business.”

Gov. Sununu also addressed the ongoing veep search, declaring that he “knows nothing” about the selection while expressing support for Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio.

Watch for the Obama campaign to accuse Sununu of Birtherism and demand an apology from Mitt Romney, while not backing down from calling Romney a felon.
