It’s a false flag, you see. IYKYK, yaknowwhutimean? Nudge nudge wink wink, there is no “radical Islam.” None. It’s fake. It’s fictional. It’s phony. A writer made it up and sold it to the rubes so that they’d vote for massive military budgets and support misguided misadventures in Iraq and Afghanistan. And if there is no “radical Islam,” you can bet your life there isn’t any mainstream Islamic ideology of jihad that calls on Muslims to wage war against non-Muslims and subjugate them under the hegemony of Islamic law. I mean, come on, man! What about the Crusades? What about the Book of Leviticus? Wake up, already!
Candace Owens has woken up. Back in March 2019, before her eyes were opened and she was able to see things the way they really are, the renowned elucidator of the contemporary scene wrote: “The Left routinely mocks Christians, defends anti-semitism— and yet demands we all ‘shut up’ about Islam. NO. NO. And NO. We are going to talk about it.”
As hard as it is to believe, the same person wrote this on Friday: “No matter how hard the GOP tries to make ‘radical Islam’ happen, the base doesn’t care about it. We are way more concerned about Israel. You can deny reality and scream about Tucker, but the party can no longer be governed by those who refuse to acknowledge the Zionist elephant in the room. I’m just trying to spare you guys the inevitable billion dollar ‘ISIS is coming’ digital campaign, wherein a bunch of online influencers will suddenly pretend they are deeply concerned about the threat of radical Islam. Our concerns about the Middle East begin with the Israeli occupation of D.C. Hope this helps.”
“The base” may or may not care about it. Owens seemed to be unaware of or indifferent to the fact that a poll at Turning Point USA’s AmFest listed “radical Islam” as the greatest threat the nation faces. Still, there is no doubt that even now, almost a quarter-century after the Sept. 11, 2001 jihad terror attacks, there is an immense about of ignorance and indifference about this threat.
I’ve been shouting into the void for decades myself. But I’ve also amassed over the last 22 years at jihadwatch.org over 90,000 pieces of evidence that “radical Islam,” or actually, mainstream, jihadist Islam, is a real threat, not one that “the GOP” is ginning up. In fact, “the GOP” has generally shown that it cares about it only a bit more than Candace Owens herself does, even if it doesn’t share her hateful paranoia about the tiny Jewish state being the actual threat to the United States.
Owens’ statements, though she delivered them with an air of absolute certainty, raise more questions than they answer. Would she have us believe that all the jihad activity in the U.S. these days is the product of Mossad fakery? Just in recent weeks, we have seen a Muslim migrant named Cholo Abdi Abdullah sentenced in prison for his efforts to hijack a plane and fly it into Atlanta’s Bank of America building. At the University of Delaware, an Afghan Muslim migrant named Luqmaan Khan was busted with guns and ammo; he was planning to shoot up his school for Allah. Another Afghan Muslim migrant, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, screamed “Allahu akbar” as he shot two National Guard troops in Washington, D.C.

In mid-November, three Muslims from Dearborn, Michigan were caught planning a series of jihad massacres, including one at the Chicago Pride Parade (Queers for Palestine could not be reached for comment). Also in November, a Muslim named Zimnako Salah was sentenced to six years in prison for placing hoax bombs in churches in California, Arizona, and Colorado, apparently in order to “strike terror in the enemies of Allah” (Qur’an 8:60).
Does Candace Owens believe, or would she have us believe, that the Israelis are so diabolically clever that they are somehow able to persuade all these Muslims to mount jihad attacks for them, and even to spend decades in prison for doing so? And those were just the jihad attacks and plots from November and December; go back over the years, and you’ll find literally hundreds of Muslims, maybe even thousands, plotting murder and mayhem inside the United States. All of them were just willing agents of the Jews and the Republicans, eh, Candace?
It’s amazing that anyone actually believes what she is saying. But they do.
