From The Spin Room: The Big Bird Groan

The debate audience has been instructed not to react to the candidates’ answers.  That is not the case in the spin room.  While the crowd is generally silent and paying close attention. President Obama has generated some groans and giggles.  When he mentioned that the only cut Romney has committed to is Big Bird, even the liberal reporters groaned.  When Obama mentioned his mother during the question about women, there  was laughter.

I suppose that the reporters here are just a cynical as the rest of us.
