JUST ADDED PAT TOOMAY’S excellent essay on Tom Landry to the links page. Toomay was drafted by the Cowboys in the early 1970s, and played with them on two Super Bowl teams. It’s one of the most even-handed tributes to Landry, which respects the man, but also mentions his flaws. And Landry did have flaws, no matter how innovative a coach he was.
