Juan Williams: Concern Troll

I like Juan Williams. I would like to have drinks with Juan Williams. But I would not take advice from Juan Williams:

The Republican National Committee’s first major advertising buy of this midterm election season will come in the shape of attack ads in 12 states against incumbent Democrats who voted for ♡bamaCare!!!.

Conservative activists are following the same strategy. The New York Times reported last week that the billionaire Koch brothers have already helped to air $20 million in advertising against Democrats who supported healthcare reform.

Oh, what a waste of money.

There might be a trend developing here.

In post from a couple weeks ago (which introduced the world to “♡bamaCare!!!“) you had Dana Milbank mocking Republicans for talking about the unsettled law of the land:

Indeed, Americans do have enough things to worry about, but now they have the additional worry that one of the two major political parties is collectively suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder. Immigration? Iraq? Unemployment benefits? The Republicans, following a year that included dozens of repeal attempts and a government shutdown over Obamacare, are prepared to respond to all with Obamacare, Obamacare and ObamaCare.

Milbank mentioned that Americans’ Number One Issue for 2014 (with a 47% plurality) is the economy.

The economy — which includes jobs you can’t get because of ♡bamaCare!!! and insurance you can’t afford before of ♡bamaCare!!!.

Now would be a good time to remind you that ♡bamaCare!!! was passed without a single Republican vote, and has grown increasingly unpopular with voters. So when Williams and Milbank want the GOP to stop talking about ♡bamaCare!!!, maybe it’s for a very good reason — and not the reason they want you to think.
