George Zimmerman probably wishes that his fame had been limited to just 15 minutes.

Channel 9 has confirmed George Zimmerman has been arrested following a domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend in Seminole County on Monday.

The disturbance was at a residence on Topfield Court in unincorporated Apopka, although authorities haven’t said what exactly happened.

There is, as William Jacobson notes, a history of charges against Zimmerman not turning out to be true.

So, we’ll see.

He really needs to move out of state and lay low for a few years.

Laying low includes not having girlfriends.

No, it's not fair, but it's the best thing he can do right now.

Not buying it yet that Zimmerman is guilty of what he's been accused of.

I don't recall where it was, but I did see a video once where an altercation occurred between two people. One had set a video camera set up in their home pointing at the driveway.

The other drove up in a car, got on the cell phone with the police 911 dispatcher, and was going on about how the person who lived there was attacking them and threatening them before backing up out of the driveway and taking off.

They gave a pretty good performance of being attacked, and even made sure to get the other person's voice on the phone call too for added legitimacy.

Fortunately, the video showed that the homeowner was being set up. Without the video, they would have been arrested.

Not saying this is the case here, but there are some crazy-a$$ people in this world.

Also, had a very liberal coworker yesterday very sarcastically note this latest incident as if it were evidence that he was likewise guilty of "murdering" Trayvon Martin.

I told her I failed to see the connection between the two events.

Best advice I would have for Zimmerman is to get through this latest charge, then get the hell out of Florida and go someplace quiet and remote in another state and give the media no forwarding address.

Oh, and stay away from crazy women - they just ain't worth the drama.

Bottom line is the moment Obama and team figured he was the tool to flip a swing state in an election AND Rick Scott blinked and went along- GZ's life was over. and I don't mean over, I mean OVER.

Think about this. He was found innocent. He was found to be a decent guy trying to do the right thing, jumped by a thug NOT trying to do the right thing.

Now he will not be able to find work- which means no money no food no car (who would hire him?), safety (There is still a "warrant" from the NBP out there. What stops some thug from walking up and popping him in the head? That thug would be a hero in some quarters.), peace (He is hounded by the media and the populace), and certainly he has lost his future and his wife (she had no choice but to run).

Not to mention as we speak, even after a FBI investigation cleared him, Eric Holder STILL wants to arrest him. He has to move through what is left of his life through the prism that everything he does or says can be used against him.

And what did he do again? That hasn't been done a hundred times in America?

The fact he has ONLY broken things in anger surprises me, I've seen people do worse for less.

This is communist China kind of persecution. Amazing no one in America seems to care. Heck, OJ was golfing with his buddies a week after getting off for killing TWO people!

She lied about being pregnant, which is one of the worst lies a woman can commit.

OTOH, he should probably avoid women for a while, especially as his divorce is not yet final. He should be surrounding himself with better people, too.

Seems to me as if Mr. Zimmerman is a rather poor judge of women. He would be well advised to simply stay away from them for a while. A. Long. While.

Sorta reminds me of Rodney King's spiral down after his "trial." Zimmerman needs to stop with the stupid behavior, count his blessings and get on with life. There are too many people wanting him dead to ever put a foot wrong.

He ought to get out of Florida. People there won't be happy till he's dead because he exposed the hard bigotry of state apparatus in thrall to black racism's palpable fictions and mass delusions.

This reminds me of the Clarence Thomas pubic hair. No defense is possible once the media has determined guilt. Didn't Michael Jackson sleep in an oxygen tent?

This is a pure example of what happens to a person's soul when their lives are invaded by the media. Zimmerman didn't ask for this, it happened to him. There are millions waiting, hoping, praying for fame. Fame is corrupting and no one is immune. Fame is the Black Plague of our age.
