Yeah — that soldier stuff gets boring after a while.

Weekly Standard:

Reggie Love says he and President Obama played cards during the Osama bin Laden raid, and that the president told him, “I can’t watch this entire thing.”

“Most people were like down in the Situation Room and [President Obama] was like, ‘I’m not going to be down there, I can’t watch this entire thing,’ We must have played 15 games of spades,” said Love at a public event.

Love was Obama’s “body man,” and spent much time with his boss while he worked for Obama at the White House.

Not everyone who was president at a time like that would play cards. But some might. Everyone deals with stress differently, and while it’s probably not something you or I would do in that situation, Obama chose card playing to relieve tension.

That’s not the problem. The problem is the image that the president and his PR hacks tried to fashion of a president who was totally engaged, on the edge of his seat, and in charge. Not that it will make a difference in anything. The press will squash the story and the narrative of brave Obama, daring to take the gamble of giving the go-code to the SEALs in Abbotobad will be maintained.

I wonder if he gave the go-ahead for the mission right after the pizza?

15 games of spades

"Spades?" What an unfortunate card game choice for two men of color.

Rush Limbaugh's take on this today (Thur. Aug. 15) is not so much that Obama was playing cards - - any conservative knows that Obama is everything BUT a President, no matter the great narcissistic regard he has for himself - - but Rush focuses on the left-wing media, scrambling to throw out phrases like, "Oh, it must have been so tension-filled, thank God he took the time to clear his head and re-focus...", or (apparently Charlie Rose said this), "I support whatever the President has to do to clear his head and stay focused."

Gee, "anything to stay focused". Would that include snorting cocaine, like he used to do when he was teen-ager / college student / community activist / adherent of Saul Alinsky? Naww ... no President would ever snort cocaine, right? "Uhh, I neither inhaled nor sniffed. I merely placed my nose into somewhat close proximity to the lines of cocaine on the mirror. And I further declare that I never had sex with that woman. With a horse or two, yes, but never with that woman."

(And of course, don't forget Camelot Democrat JFK, getting injected three or four times daily with speed - - "amphetamines" - - by his Dr. Feelgood - - you can google Dr. Max Jacobson.)

Ha. What an electorate we have in this country ... voted for Obama not just once, but TWICE. Enjoy!

Anyone who knows about the special relationship between Reggie Love and the president, has suspected this was the explanation for the "disappearance" of the POTUS during Benghazi. Maybe he was playing cards that evening, too.

Yes, playing with each others spades n'stuff...

Although 15 games of spades sounds like a would-be bestselling novel written in cowboy poetry metric.

Reggie inadvertently answers the question about where Obama was during Benghazi. At approximately 6 minutes into the video in response to a question of what life was like in the WH he says one thing he learned that when Obama is in the WH he learned "...that come 6:30 I always knew that he was going to have dinner with the family..." This pretty well describes Obama´s whereabouts on Sept 11, 2012 when the Benghazi facility was under attack and the American´s were asking for help.

Equally damning is the performance of the interviewer, Jim Newton, Editor at Large of the LA Times. This supposed "journalist" is too busy being a sycophant to offer any substantive follow-up questions to some of what Love says. His "performance as a journalist" goes a long way in explaining why the LA Times hid the tape of Obama´s comments at Rashid Khadili´s farewell party in Chicago in 2003.

If you don't know what I'm talking about check this piece out from Apr 2010 from PJM's Roger L. Simon.

I suspect the tape no longer exists, it was destroyed long ago by the "journalists" at the LA Times.

This raises the question; was the famous Situation Room picture released after the Osama raid, which showed Mr. Gutsy Call hunkered down in the corner, a staged picture or just a Photoshop?

Reggie must be soooo proud of his buddy boss.

Obama loves everything about the Presidency except actually doing the job.

Seriously. And what is an American President doing with such a "body man?"

What does a "body man" do?

Is he like a "Valet" or something?
