Is there no end to this white Hispanic devil’s evil?

George Zimmerman, who has been in hiding since he was acquitted of murder in the death of Trayvon Martin, emerged to help rescue someone who was trapped in an overturned truck, police said today.

Sanford Police Department Capt. Jim McAuliffe told ABC News that Zimmerman “pulled an individual from a truck that had rolled over” at the intersection of a Florida highway last week. Florida Highway Patrol is now handling the case, McAuliffe said.

The crash occurred at the intersection of I-4 and route 417, police said. The crash site is less than a mile from where he shot Martin.

Jokes aside, Zimmerman is facing hundreds of death threats and the New Black Panthers’ bounty is still on his head. Yet he came out of hiding, at the risk of his life, to help a total stranger.

That’s an act of courage. Eric Holder is still looking to prosecute him, with Barack Obama’s blessing.

More: I wish I was making this up. A few minutes ago I was driving back to my Hill Country lair from a meeting, and turned on the radio. Local talk show, politics, culture, the usual stuff. The hosts kicked off the show talking about this story. The first caller to get through was a guy who said that he didn’t believe the story. He said he believed Zimmermans is guilty and just made up the story to start trying to get people to like him.

The hosts pointed out that Sanford police are the source for the story, not Zimmerman. They asked the caller if he believed that the local police and sheriff’s department made up the crash and filed a false report just to help Zimmerman. The caller said that, well, the crash may have happened but that they’re making up Zimmerman’s involvement.

Like I said, I wish I was making this up.

ZIMMERMAN!

Originally an ordinary neighborhood-watch volunteer, George Zimmerman was bitten by a radioactive community organizer, and received remarkable powers. He discovered that he could channel The Power of the Mob into bursts of superstrength, and he used this to help poor, the friendless, and the accident-prone.

As the superhero ZIMMERMAN, he would suddenly appear, provide assistance, and almost before the beneficiaries of his help were aware of him, fade back into the anonymity of the crowd.

ZIMMERMAN! A hero for today's America!

This illustrates something that's been pissing me off about the coverage of this case from day one.

Even on websites that don't toe the Left/MSM line (like this one) many if not most columnists writing about the case have attempted to be "fair" or "evenhanded" by using boileplate language like "Zimmerman's no angel..." or "there are no heroes here...". The basic thrust is always the same: even if Zimmerman deserves acquittal this tragedy could have been avoided if only he wasn't such a screwed up loose cannon.

Well, I call BS. Everything we know about Zimmerman paints a picture of a man who tries to help others, often at risk to himself. Everything we know about Martin tells us his highest aspiration was to be a thug. There's nothing fair or evenhanded about denying those things. The world would be a much better place with more George Zimmerman's in it.

I'll say it again: Zimmerman is an exemplary individual. He's not perfect, but I'd rather have him in my neighborhood than any of the people who hate him.

Thank you Bill Western. Please..let's tell the truth about this guy. He was FAR too overweight "obese' according to MOmara, to protect himself from TM, but suddenly, and BOY do I mean SUDDENLY (just a mere DAYS after the verdict) when he is in far WORSE shape, he finds himself in an unbelievably unique but highly opportunistic situation in which he can get a little good PR, but is suddenly superman who can pull people (200 plus pound people BTW) out of an overturned vehicle and go on abt his day like no big deal. HE doesn't speak to the media, but his attorney DOES, his brother DOES, the Sanford Police (you know the disgraced police dept that was PISSED they were made to look bad at trial and has a vested INTEREST in making it seem like their initial assessment Of GZ ws the CORRECT one) Captain DOES. Big SIGH. And since WHEN, BTW, does ANY police dept feel the need to report to the media -accidents in which there are NO injuries? OR mention only ONE of the two 'heros' by name. So obvious it stinks. Of COURSE the American public is not gonna buy this story.

I am sure brother Trayvon would have done the same. He probably would have lifted a couple of wallets, taken the watches, and pocketed the cell phones, but he would have been there. Now if Obama had been there, say instead of fundraisng or golfing, he would have called for a targeted federal program & told the victims how much he cares.
Good for Zimmerman, a shame though that in this dying nation this will be deliberately ignored in most outlets.

Actually, he saved an entire family that was trapped in that SUV. Mom, Dad and two kids.

Of course this story will be ignored. Zimmerman is a monster, period. That's the only narrative that goes out to the public.

I played bridge today with two women who were on Trayvon's side and gave all the talking points regarding the downtrodden blacks. As a former resident in a suburb of the district of Columbia I have seen a totally different side and as a teacher have tried to work with that side. Until the uninformed have similar experiences I don't think their attitude will change.

"This may be Zimmerman's fate. People will hate him, but at the same time, will pray silently that he's in the neighborhood if they need him."

That is how half the planet views America.

One shouldn't wish for bad luck to happen to other people, but since that already happened to those crash victims I do kind of hope they had been among that part of the populace who had only seen the media coverage, and swallowed the idea of evil, racist Zimmerman who got away with murder whole.

Only then to face him as their rescuer. :)

They probably are - they still have chosen not to comment on the incident. It's only out there because the cops released the story.

That proves that Zimmerman is racist!!!!! If he didn't shoot him, Trayvon would have been the one to pull the people from the crash!!!!! Just stealing Travon's good deeds, that's what he did......

What color were the crash victims? That's all that matters, after all.
