If you still harbor any doubt that mainstream media journalists are in the tank for Obama, wonder no more. An open mic caught several of them coordinating strategy and gaming out how to pester Mitt Romney about his statement Tuesday, in which he called the Obama administration’s response to the attacks in Egypt and Libya “disgraceful.”
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: …pointing out that the Republicans… *unintelligible* …Obama….
CBS REPORTER: That’s the question.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: *unintelligible*
CBS REPORTER: Yeah that’s the question. I would just say do you regret your question.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Your question? Your statement?
CBS REPORTER: I mean your statement. Not even the tone, because then he can go off on…
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: And then if he does, if we can just follow up and say ‘but this morning your answer is continuing to sound…’ – *becomes unintelligble*
CBS REPORTER: You can’t say that..
**Later**
CBS REPORTER: I’m just trying to make sure that we’re just talking about, no matter who he calls on we’re covered on the one question.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Do you stand by your statement or regret your statement?
Video at the link.
No reporters seem bothered that neither Secretary of State Clinton nor President Obama took any press questions on the attacks, which resulted in the first killing of a US ambassador in the field since the Carter administration. Curious, that.

Well they can’t use JournoList to coordinate and they never know what might be re-tweetted so they have to coordinate in person, in wispers.
When does fraud, conspiracy and treason cease to be “mainstream”?
Ah, the Lickspittle Media – never missing a chance to protect their Savior. And what is worse – they know we’re aware of it and could care less – part of their kicks is laughing at the “rubes.” I wish I could say that those of us not in the tank for St. Barack will have the last laugh on election day, but I’m beginning to wonder…
Bryan,
This can’t be given enough publicity. PJM should headline and repeat it as irrefutable proof that the MSM are totally partisan and should be ignored as the liars they are.
Now will you agree with me, that it’s not the MSM or even the LSM? Rather, it is the Ministry of Propaganda and Lies.
All these right-wing microphones. They must be made by Diebold.
– having watched it unfold. Obvious. No question. What is PJM gonna do about it?
– as the attacks themselves.
At this point one must wonder if some of these folks aren’t on the DNC payroll. I’m not kidding.
MSM Journalists– “First up against the wall” would be just desserts. Sadly, though…
Dear Leader, of course, took no questions.
Regardless of how great they think Dear Leader is, you’d think the MSM’s sense of boredom and/or uselessness would move them to realize that, for them, President Romney would make their jobs interesting.
No such luck…they’re content to be scooped by the Pimp with the Limp.
Wow there’s audio of the journalist collaborating with a colleague about what questions ask at a press conference, and you think that some sort smoking gun? Seriously? did it ever occur to you that both of these journalists work for the same company, and they were both looking for a good soundbite for their story? Are you really so delusional that you think that they are not still in competition with each other for who can sell the most articles, newspapers, or airtime? Anyone who knows anything about journalism, or competitive business, knows these people are not working together from different companies to trying get the same question asked. This is the most absurd thing I have ever read. But then what would I expect from a bunch of people who support a man who has been proven a liar repeatedly, even in the last few months? Find something else to do with your time.
JW – You must be drinking kool-aid from the Ministry of Propaganda and Lies. The only person lying in all this is the individual with the foreign-sounding name (along with the buffoon who is his VP). I certainly would like to have heard how they prepare for O, but then he doesn’t take questions, so they don’t hav to do that.
“Collaborating with a colleague”? Wary of “competition”?
The two reporters caught on tape are Jan Crawford of CBS & Ari Shapiro of NPR (National Progressive Radio, to me).
The dead giveaway is the line “I’m just trying to make sure that we’re just talking about, no matter who he calls on we’re covered on the one question.”; followed by “. . . do you stand by your statement or regret your statement?”, just to get it down. This shows that the conversation extended beyond just these two, & during the question & answer period (in which Obama & his eye-candy H Clinton later refused to indulge), you hear the term “regret” repeated several times.
Read the actual transcript before trying to spin it.
Over itself the honky ho MSM.
Okay, our president and mistress of diplomacy will not answer questions about what is clearly a terrorist attack on the United States and the murder of a U.S. ambassador and 3 other American citizens sanctioned by a hostile, Islamist government.
Maybe The Teleprompter will take questions.
