The Romney campaign released a statement tonight regarding the attacks on US sovereignty in Cairo, Egypt and Benghazi, Libya. “I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi,” GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney said. “It’s disgraceful that the Obama Administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.”
Romney is referring to the statement issued by the US embassy in Cairo, which placed blame for the attacks on US free speech rights for offending Muslims, not the attackers themselves. Later, the embassy tweeted in response to someone who blamed Abu Ghraib on all Americans, saying “We consistently stand up for Muslims around the world and talk abt how Islam is a wonderful religion.”
As of this writing, hours after both attacks, President Obama has issued no formal reaction at all.

If he had guts, he would draw a parallel to how his own religion was (and is) treated, and how Mormons have reacted over the years – firstly often using violence themselves, but then taking a more peaceful way. Mormonism has evolved – why can’t Islam?
Then again, that would likely create a big backlash…
“Mormonism has evolved – why can’t Islam?”
Because Mormonism wasn’t established, practiced and forcibly spread by a pack of medieval savages.
He’s against it?

Well, better than Obumbles total non-response.
This could “be” the election.
Refer back to the Klein quote from Wright – that Wright helped Obama embrace Christianity without giving up (in my words) Obama’s affinity for the stability of his childhood Indonesian Islamic experience.
A Muslim President, per se, doesn’t disturb me in the slightest. I’ve known far too many secularist Muslims — two now, including my GP physician.
The man-child in the WH is a different matter. He doesn’t yet know himself, and he suckles at the teat of a softer, warmer time in his fragmented life.
I suspect that he is emotionally incapable of standing up to a Salafist mob, because all Muslims are the same to him (i.e.: in the child’s remembrance inside his mind.)
He is to be pitied.
We are to be screwed.
Are you better off now than you were four years ago? Is it easier for you to go and buy things in the stores than it was four years ago? Is there more or less unemployment in the country than there was four years ago? Is America as respected throughout the world as it was?
Have erased Obama’s bump.
