Three weeks ago I posted about a pre-May Day riot in San Francisco’s Mission District (“May Day violence starts early in SF as Occupy smashes up Mission District“).
Now, the Occupiers responsible for the mayhem have proudly posted to YouTube a video of their rampage, showing them attacking a police station, smashing business windows and car windshields, vandalizing everything in sight and terrorizing diners and passersby, as they chant “Occupy is under attack! What do we do? Stand up fight back!” and “The system has got to die. Hella hella Occupy!”
SFGate has some background details about the Occupy outburst:
In the video, protesters laugh and cheer as windows shatter and windshields are smashed. They move together in the middle of Valencia Street, chanting, “No more pigs in our community” and, “The system has got to die, hella hella Occupy” — a common chant among the Occupy Oakland movement.
About 100 protesters had split away at 9 p.m. from a rally in Dolores Park that was held in advance of Occupy’s May Day actions. Protesters caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage as they marched down 18th Street to Duboce Avenue and Valencia.
The amazing part? The San Francisco police were monitoring the whole thing, and followed behind the Occupy rioters in police vans, and yet did nothing to stop them, even after the mob attacked an officer inside a parked police car.
Occupy Wall Street’s mainstream defenders are trying desperately to distance themselves from the “Black Bloc” anarchists who by now have grown to become one of the largest, if not the largest, group comprising the Occupy movement. Without the anarchist Occupiers (such as the ones shown here) the movement would quickly disintegrate from lack of participants.
The problem for Occupy’s apologists is that this major sector of the movement has transformed into a fascist street gang, and have no intention of “toning things down.” Anyone who thinks that they are substantially different from the Brown Shirts terrorizing Munich in the early ’20s is fooling themselves. Heck the SA logo is even almost identical to the Black Bloc’s logo.
The video really speaks for itself.
Send it to anyone and everyone you know who still expresses sympathy for Occupy Wall Street or who has ever accused the Tea Party of being out of the mainstream:
It’s 11 minutes long, but worth every minute; it gets juicier as it progresses.

the comments are pretty heartening — people certainly seem to be waking up as regards this “mostly peaceful” movement.
why waste the shoe leather when they’ve already done your work for you, huh zombie? heh. these knobs seem *proud* of what they are doing.
Hey the police are just there for the overtime detail. You don’t expect them to maintain the peace do you?
Yeah, but remember when someone at a Tea Party rally may or may not have spit on someone? Or when someone at a Tea Party rally may have stepped on someone’s foot? The horror. The horror.
It gets worse. While it’s true that the Tea Parties always clean up their own trash after their rallies, I have it on good authority that they *don’t always separate recyclables!*.
Which makes them EXACTLY like… Nazis!!!
The Mission?? Why not Pacific Heights? Would the police stop them there?
I suspect the police are merely following orders. If anyone’s responsible for the destruction, it’s the city government.
I think I know what you mean, but the real responsibility lies with the people who did the damage.
Very strictly speaking, Richard, you are correct. But one can’t give tacit permission to a forewarned violent ramapage and disavow any responsibility afterwards.
Two observations: the first is that this is probably giving the participants a thrill. The more they do this, the more they will want to do this, and the better at it they will become. They will learn that this instrument breaks windows better than that instrument. Why stop at spray painting cars? Why not trash the windows and tires or torch them? The police not stopping them merely emboldens them to do more.
Now the guy trying to reason with them, is or was he crazy? Trying to reason with thugs who have covered their faces is crazy. These idiots don’t want reason, they want violence. He tries to be sympathetic, ‘Go ahead, trash a BMW.’ How does he know that some poor guy doesn’t own that BMW, and it is the pride and joy of his poor life?
Any bets that if any property owners tried to defend their property with violence, the property owner would find their sorry ass in jail?
“Now the guy trying to reason with them, is or was he crazy? Trying to reason with thugs who have covered their faces is crazy. These idiots don’t want reason, they want violence. That’s what I was thinking — the most rational guy to make an appearance is fine with smashing somebody’s car, so long as it’s an expensive make: “If you want to trash a BMW, that’s one thing…” Yeah, pal, what thing is that? Nuts.
If we ever see any justice in this life, his car will be sacrificed to the idols of anarchy at their next festival…
Lemmie see here, CA penal code considers using a firearm in defense of yourself and your property (home/business) justifiable during a riot. I wonder how tough these thugs really are when they might have to pay for their actions with their lives?
Could you please post a link the the relevant california code? I’d love to ask the police if they’d prosecute someone defending themselves under the relevant law.
I wonder why we never hear of Occupy mischief in Texas?
“He needed killin’” is a positive defense in Texas. And a lot of these fascisti need killin’.
Holy shit!
I think Barry and Nancy and all the enablers in the dem party thought they had some pet protestors. Guess not.
“Hey the police are just there for the overtime detail. You don’t expect them to maintain the peace do you?”
That’s very unfair to the police. The politicians who run San Francisco would destroy the career of any police officer who dared to interfere with the recreational activities of a progressive fascist.
Perhaps they should take a page from the CPD NATO response.
One child gives another an aspirin in school and the child is expelled. Run amok down a street in a California city and no one does anything. It looks like we got Satan on the run all right.
Maybe a few armed citizens against these thugs? Bet they’d back down real quick.
In the USA, it would have happened.
In the 92 LA riots, armed Korean storeowners successfully defended their property with firearms. Metrosexual San Franciscan businesspeople in the path of the scum flood can only go “hey, don’t do that” and expect that to be effective when the thugs vandalize their property.
Reality comes to the Mission.
Hella is a popular slang term in the East Bay, you don’t really here in other parts of the Bay Area. So I suspect they came across the bridge.
And let’s not forget that Elizabeth Warren is the intellectual foundation for this laudable display of human spirit. I do hope Scott Brown remembers that and reminds MA voters every chance he gets.
“The system has got to die. Hella hella Occupy!” Back in the 80s hella and hecka were used by friends from the East Bay, I’d never heard the terms used on the Peninsula or San Francisco. Things might have changed of course but I wouldn’t be surprised if a number of these occupy guys came over from the east bay.
As I’ve said before. They want a civil war. I’m to the stage where I’d welcome it if for no other reason then we’d get rid of the vast majority of idiots like this and might possibly get back to a representative constitutional republic.
It’s always been expensive to be free.
Orion
How long before that happens down a neighborhood of houses? Disturbing on many levels, mostly in the police not doing a thing to stop it. Better rely on yourself for your own self defense, no wonder gun sales are up under Obama.
Maybe in Berkley. In a real suburban neighborhood, I would hope the local cops would jump in hard.
If not, in the absence of law-enforcement, homeowners would start using these thugs for target practice.
If they come marching up my suburban street pulling that crap (suburb of Orlando), there’ll be several of us lining up for target practice.
Whaddaya know? Cancer can walk.
There were people in one of the restaurants, and they just stupidly watched and even waved as these punks walked by. I’m starting to feel very little sympathy with the residents of San Francisco. They’re the fruitcakes that voted in the city government that tolerates this; they’re the ones that stand up for the “dear little occupiers.” I’m inclined to think the liberal idiots who live in these big city enclaves deserve what’s happening to them, since they seem too stupid to force their local governments to make it stop.
Anyone who lives in San Francisco is guilty of living in San Francisco. They deserve whatever happens to them, until they earn a a pardon by moving someplace else.
There is a very important lesson here.
The Tea Party people are villified by the media and politicians, whereas the OWS people are not.
Think.
Who is a threat to the system of graft and corruption will call the US govt? Old white people who say no more tax increases and call for responsible govt spending, or a few hundred violent protestors smashing up stuff.
The time for the assumption of good or honorable intentions on the part of the “establishment” in this country has long passed.
San Francisco is an unflushed toilet in the best of times, so the video seems pretty typical.
Nice job by the local authorities. Guess the commie government there doesn’t want to antagonize their base by arresting rioters and vandals.
I hope this continues and escalates for fruit, nuts, & flakes of San FranSicko. That cesspool of a city represented by Nanzi Piglosi deserves all that happens to it.
Does anyone notice the similarity between SDS (Students for a Democrat Society) and its “Weatherman” faction and “Occupy…” and the “Black Bloc”?
Gee, that Billy Ayers guy, he was “involved” in the Weatherman, wasn’t he? Waht a “coincidence”. And I’d SWEAR I read something about Billy-Boy being “tangentially” involved with the “Occupy” clique.
As the late, magnificent Andrew Breitbart said at CPAC 2012, “Bill Ayers is charming. So was Ted Bundy.”
“God bless them for their spontaneity,” Pelosi told reporters. “It’s young, it’s spontaneous, it’s focused and it’s going to be effective.”
When the police don’t act then the citizenry has to. Vigilantism is coming.
This is a simple neighborhood community problem. I can tell you, without reservation, that if these scum tried this in my neighborhood, they would have been beaten senseless. All of them. I live in a close and tight knit area.
These cowards would run like rats if they were actually confronted by citizens willing to defend their community. Needless to say, San Francisco isn’t heavily populated with that type. To paraphrase previous comments, how come Occupy Boise never really took off?
It’s the Greek riots all over again. In both Greece and San Fran the rioters are an extension of government. The rioters are rioting for more public spending and, by consequence, greater power for public employees. If the police step in to stop the riots then they’re in conflict with the city “leaders” and their union bosses. It’s an obvious conflict of interest and the resulting “Law and Disorder” is best resolved by “open carry”.
I grew up in SF back in the fifties and sixties. There were still many safe neighborhoods then, young kids were safe outside in the evenings, and many people didn’t bother to lock their front doors when they were ay home. This trust died in the seventies. I missed it terribly so I moved to Texas 25 years ago to raise my own family. Of course, Texas, like any any state, has idiots, thugs, and well-meaning liberals, but few of them here are stupid enough to openly attack some who might be armed. Concealed Carry laws protect those who choose not to be armed almost a much as those who choose to carry. SF is a beautiful city, but I won’t live there ever again. I’m armed, and don’t own anything worth dying for. I’m also an excellent shot. Pistol, rifle, or shotgun, a thug intent on taking my life, liberty, or property is highly unlikely to succeed on the first attempt, and will not be allowed a second.
Don’t try this in Texas. Castle doctrine permits lethal force in defense of property. Vandals would be advised to go elsewhere to create their vanity videos.
I wonder who is funding them, paying for food, transportation, etc.?
O’Reilly briefly touched on OWS funding. Guess what, Soros and Tides are funding Occupy. Does Occupy money eventually end up with these thugs? I sure would like to know.
This is what you are going to get when you elect progressives to power! They side with OWS and liberal officials tell police they will be punished if anyone in the force gets out of hand. So police follow anarchists while essentially handcuffed! San Fran residents have sewn the seed of their destruction….and are now reaping the benefits. Fable : A scorpion comes to a river and cannot swim, seeing a frog asks….good frog can you not swim me across on your back? The frog replies…I cannot for you will sting me, and I will die! That is absurd…if I did that we will both drown! Now convinced the frog takes the scorpion and begins to swim but midstream the scorpion stings the frog! Why asks the frog as he sinks to his death? The scorpion replies, Idiot, I am a scorpion.
The police were obviously under orders to stand down, but I don’t understand a city government that thinks that’s a viable response to thuggery and violence. It only encourages the violent thugs to more violence, because they know they can get away with it. If that were my car or store being vandalized, I would sue the city for damages, and publicize every council member’s vote on such things, because the police were there and could do nothing.
Of course, anonymous snipers on rooftops would probably spell the end of SF Occupy pretty quickly.
Remember, folks: it’s the Tea Party that’s violent.
Can you spell ‘Kristallnacht’?
Considering that they are anarchists, it is curious that they stayed in the right-hand lanes, with the flow of traffic.
Steve S.,
“Considering that they are anarchists, it is curious that they stayed in the right-hand lanes, with the flow of traffic.”
Everything they needed to know, they learned in kindergarten.
They have the mentality and maturity of kindergarteners.
‘Oooh I stampa my widdle feet and scream weallly loud! I putta da bad word on da wall! That’ll show Mommy and Daddy! They’ll havta pay ‘tension to me now!’
I would bet good money that most of those criminals are upper-middle class or higher.
It would be delicious… pick one at random, silently follow him home (no matter how many hours it takes), then smash all his house windows. Of course, you’d go to jail while he was excused. Oh well.
