Redefining the parameters of narcissism and megalomania, some dude named Barack Obama has renamed an entire generation of Americans as “Gen44″ — that’s “44″ as in the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.
Gen44er Tina Korbe over at Hot Air takes exception to this inclusion of all young voters in Gen44, whether they voted for Obama or not.
The Twittersphere is already turning the hashtag #Gen44 into an hilarious Obama-bashing fiesta, something I heartily recommend you join if you’re familiar with this newfangled “Twitter” thingamajig.
Michelle Malkin’s new Twitter-trend-folling site “Twitchy” has already compiled some of the more memorable Tweets, such as “I’m not #gen44, I work for a living. I’m #gen1040″ and “#gen44: Because this time I want Obama to win all 57 States.”
Here’s the official diktat from our Eternal Namesake, Il Quaranta-Quatro:
UPDATE:
I was thinking various organizations could take this idea and run with it, as a marketing concept.

There’s nothing quite so pathetic as an overblown narcissist whom most recognize as such.
OK, but “Gen44DD” obviously isn’t and that’s not a .44 magnum. Other than that, they are about as reliable as any other Obamatwit.
Actually, it is a .44 Magnum, according to this site.
As for the under-developed t-shirt model: Well, none of those online t-shirt companies that allow you to instantly design and test out any slogan of your choosing have any body-templates with anything even approaching a 44DD. What you see was the best I could do, considering my limited options. If anybody has Photoshop skills to put the same slogan on a real 44DD body, be my guest, and post it here.

Although he is only a few of years younger than me (I am 53), I can in no way, shape, or form, imagine this man as a part of my generation. He is that awkward, pretentious, poofy guy who occasionally appeared at a great party, hung on the sidelines, said little and when he did half of it was pretentious nonsense. Frequently bullshit stories.
Obama, rocking in the 80s? Get the hell out. I disown him. Feh.
He’s not talking about people his age, he’s talking about young skulls full of mush. Kids too young to vote for him in 2008, kids who cast their first vote for him in 2008, 30-year-olds still living in their parents’ basement…
Yes, but in his narcissism, he’s speaking as if his “generation” is the guiding light for a new, hip, “Progressive” generation. I reject the notion, and him.
I keep telling myself to stop being surprised at the ever-escalating heights of narcissism Obama can rise to, because, really, there doesn’t seem to be any limit at all.
This administration drips with tyrannical statism even when it tries to start grass roots youth movements. Read this excerpt from the official website for Gen44. Notice there is no mention of individuals committed to America or American values, just dear leader and the Democratic party. Once again the message from this administration is rife with authoritarian top-down thinking, “Gen44 is only as strong as our leaders”, substitute “America” for Gen44 and that is what this president is really thinking.
“Gen44 is only as strong as our leaders, and we are looking for individuals who display a strong commitment to the advancement of President Obama’s agenda and to the long-term sustainability of the Democratic Party.”
Just to throw in here: those of us in this generation are the very last American kids to have to take Civics as a mandatory course in JHS/HS. Those who follow are utterly clueless.
– already knows the results of the election and told his Comrade Czar so.
Anything named after Obama should have “zero” in it.
Thought I’d step in and claim this for all my generation: We’re not all mush-headed idiots being fooled by this clown. I’ll proudly cast my first presidential election vote against Mr. Obama this fall. I anticipate welcoming his lame duck stretch in a few months as the end of a long tirade of…well, lameness.
Check out Resistance 44 on Facebook! It’s ready got more members and its great to see smart young professionals doing the right thing.
Welcome from outside the bubble.
You all should step out of it once in a while.
