Members of the New Black Panther Party are offering a $10,000 reward for the “capture” of George Zimmerman, the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who shot Trayvon Martin.
New Black Panther leader Mikhail Muhammad announced the reward during a protest in Sanford Saturday. And when asked whether he was inciting violence, Muhammad replied defiantly: “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”
So the answer is “yes,” and that he doesn’t care.
The bounty announcement came moments after members of the group called for the mobilization of 10,000 black men to capture Zimmerman, who shot Trayvon in a gated Sanford community on Feb. 26.
Muhammad said members of his group would search for Zimmerman themselves in Maitland — where the 28-year old worked before the shooting, employees there told the Orlando Sentinel. He declined to say when the group would begin their search.
This is a serious and credible threat of violence. And there’s more, including the Panthers trying to get black entertainers to donate $1 million to the Panthers. Never miss an opportunity to raise some blood money.
The Panthers are also directly threatening a public official:
The party members said they are tired of the inaction of government officials — from Sanford city officials up to the Governor, accusing them of lying and delaying justice.
They accused newly-appointed special prosecutor Angela Corley of being an enemy of the black community.
“She has a track record of sending innocent young black men and women to prison,” he said.
Our president could, if he chose to, calm the situation down. Our attorney general could also, if he chose to, calm this situation down. But so far, neither one has.
And I wonder what Eric Holder’s response to Mikhail Muhammad’s threat will be, no I don’t really wonder, because we all know what the DOJ will do do when it come to threats being made by the Black Panthers, absolutely nothing, say it again.

Yes. The MSM will be his Goebbels. Just wonder who will get to be Himmler. Oh wait, he already has him – Holder. Same policies, just a different skin color.
Is there grounds here for the State of Florida to act on credible threats of violence? If the NBP were in Sanford when the threat was made the AG’s office can prosecute and even request extradition from out of state.
Holder will do squat about this. They’re his “people.” Plus every one knows black folks in prison are mostly innocent. Just ask any 10,000 black people.
I know it’s been said a million times before (and for good reason) but just think if this were the leader of a white supremacist “militia” making a public announcement of a bounty on the head of some black guy accused of a crime. Any guesses as to how Eric Holder would handle that? How about the media? And if this was a case of a white victim and a black guy accused of the crime we know that the response in that case would be a desperate plea to avoid a “rush to judgment.” But in this case, a Hispanic man shoots a black kid and so the black supremacist group skips the “rush to judgment” and goes straight to the street execution.
Remember that it is the “soveeign citizen” movement we must warn people about. Don’t lose focus.

The rest of the story – after the Black Panthers postured on TV, a couple Sanford cops drove up and nicely asked them to move along; they were blocking traffic in a resicdential district.
There was plenty of animosity from the Panthers, and racial curses thrown at the officers. But because the officers merely stood there and were not provoked, the Panthers then got in a couple cars and left the scene. The TV folks kept rolling tape and were just hoping to see some arrests or something, but since nothing happened, the story just died there.
They want 10,000 men to follow them, but a dozen Black Panthers, cursing out cops on live TV, couldn’t even get arrested? My, how the mighty have fallen.
His father is Jewish ‘white’–hence the last name Zimmerman–and his mother is Peruvian. Not sure which label is better, if we are to use a label at all.
Hate to break the news to you Ruy, but not all Jewish people are white.
Is the father Jewish? I don’t know if he is or isn’t. But “Zimmerman” is not a Jewish name, per se. It’s a German name that means “carpenter.” Which is to say that the name indicates a German origin, either Jew or Gentile.
Sounds like premeditated murder to me ….

They are looking for far more than the ‘capture’ of Zimmerman, they are explicitly calling for his murder.
Why don’t the Black Panthers do the same thing for the people who shot 10 black kids in Chicago last week? I would guess that was black on black, and black shooters are not held to as a high standard as white/Latino shooters. Must be affirmative action or something.

Stanford, FL police could have calmed it down more readily and chose not to. Why hold the White House accountable for states’ problems when the state is at fault. When the White House wants to intervene any other time, states are quick to scream “State’s Rights.” So, why now?

An accusation is not a threat, its an accusation.
Being the age of 76, I do not recall, even one time, a Black person bad-mouthing the , at the time, inhabitants of Africa, for selling, yes SELLING,their countrymen to the Whites to be sold again as slaves.
Where is the indignation from the Panther Party, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and on and on. Sure is quite in this corner.
