Annoy Obama, Sell Some Books

Heh.

According to Brewe’s account, she handed the president a hand-written letter expressing her willingness to talk about Arizona’s economic progress and border security.

But, instead, she said Obama confronted her about how he didn’t like how was portrayed in her book, ‘Scorpions for Breakfast.’

“I had written a hand-written note to him to deliver, welcoming him to Arizona and to thank him for being here and gave him the letter and he immediately took umbrage if you will with the book that I wrote ‘Scorpions for Breakfast’ and was somewhat disgruntled,” Brewer said.

Photographers also captured a picture of Brewer pointing her finger at Obama’s chest — a photo that has become a rallying cry for opponents of the president who are looking for a conservative politician to take him on.

The White House claims Obama said nothing that warranted the finger pointing.

Of course that’s what the White House claims. They also claimed to have “created or saved” a bazillion jobs. They think the president is the sinless victim of partisan sniping or something.

The governor’s book has since shot up on Amazon thanks to the president’s irritation with her and it. People do like a fighter.

So…brokered convention? Daniels/Brewer 2012?

This also proves Obama’s petty small mindedness.

I haven’t read the book either, but I remember the Bushes holding grudges against “critics”, not that I blame them.

Do you, perhaps, have a higher standard for a Democrat than you have for a Republican president?

      • Art Chance

Actually, Josh U. Idiot, lots of us just a priori hate anybody who today remains a confessing Democrat. Anyone who has become or remained a Democrat since the mid to late ’80s is either a communist , a parasite, or an idiot.

Do you recall any time the Bushes directly confronted an elected official who had written something about them ? Can you document it?

On a scale of 1-10 of intolerance to criticism/being thin-skinned , how do you rate Obama and the Bushes?

        Inquiring minds want to know.

  2. Bryan, I hate to be picky, but you say “They also claimed to have ‘created or saved’ a bazillion jobs.” Shirley Surely, you must mean Brazilian jobs, far more important than those in the United States.

I find that it’s quite normal for people to project what they think onto other people in a general way, assuming that if they think it it must be shared by people in general.

When it comes to Obama and “partisan sniping,” the President comes from the ultimate version of partisanship in the form of 20 year at United Trinity Church in Chicago.

If you can find a more wholesale dedication and glorification to a depraved us versus them mentality I’d like to know what it is. Democrats can actually look at United and Wright’s pathetic hate speech and say there’s really nothing to see there. That gives a clue to the cluenessness of the Democrats own world view.

you know what’s annoying – y’all thinking he even read the book. Has a basement somewhere, minions reading and highlighting stuff that make him look bad, putting people on the list for rounding up, American terrorists, that sort of thing

So, where do authors sign up to publicly argue with a President so they too can get their book sales to go through the roof? Free publicity! lol

  6. 6. talk about finger pointing

obama tried to poke a finger in pm netanyahu’s chest at the white house, has a middle finger too that he likes to flick people off with, and probably ought to save a finger for himself once in a while to stick somewhere

A brokered convention would be good. Theme music would be “Peacefrog” by the Doors.

Our beloved Governor has good days and bad days. Her debate performance is cringeworthy.
