The Democratic Party and a Second Holocaust
I admit the title of this article is incendiary, but these are incendiary times — not just because the U.S. consulate in Benghazi has been torched and the embassy in Cairo attacked by Islamic fanatics protesting a movie no one ever heard of, let alone saw, but because, in the midst of this, the president of the United States declined to meet with the prime minister of Israel when Benjamin Netanyahu is in the U.S. next week for the convening of the General Assembly.
Not surprisingly, the White House has branded this a false report and — mirabile dictu in this election season — Obama did speak with the Israeli prime minister for an hour Tuesday evening.
Was this a hurried arrangement to avoid a public relations debacle for the president?
Most likely. The result was a fairly bland announcement by the White House. And we all know Obama despises Netanyahu. He said as much to Sarkozy on an open mike. Our president prefers the likes of the charming Russian leadership (also available on open mike) and the quasi-Islamist prime minister of Turkey who massacres Kurdish civilians and opposes the equality of the sexes.
But Netanyahu, like him or not, has a weight on his shoulders far greater than has the president of the United States. For the prime minister of Israel, it’s not the economy, stupid. It’s the preservation of his people. In other words, it’s genocide, stupid.
At the same time as Obama is refusing or not refusing to talk with Netanyahu, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is arriving in New York for his annual pilgrimage to the UN, once more undoubtedly to spew his propaganda before the world as the centrifuges continue to whirl back in Iran, bringing the Islamic Republic closer and closer to a nuclear weapon.
As we all know, the bien pensants at the New York Times and elsewhere think that this is natural evolution, that the Third World (okay, the developing world) will all be getting the bomb soon — that we should just learn to live with it and ignore statements of racial and national extermination made on a daily basis by the mullahs. They have to be kidding, right? It’s just a pose. No one would actually do that.
Of course, people did — and they were “civilized” Europeans — not so very long ago. And for Benjamin Netanyahu to ignore that would be criminal madness. No wonder, at this point, practically every Israeli, right or left, has lined up behind him on the issue. It would be insane to do otherwise.
Barack Obama, as we also know, has not. He has refused Netanyahu’s request for a nuclear “red line” beyond which Iran cannot cross, even though, without such a line, sanctions are meaningless. (Iran clearly treats them that way.) And, at least according the Jerusalem Post, Obama has continued this refusal in his latest conversation with Netanyahu, no matter how that was arranged. The resulting statement has no reference to it.
(BTW, isn’t it odd that Obama would suddenly be having a conversation with Netanyahu in the evening in D.C.? That would make it roughly one or two AM in Jerusalem, depending on when they started.)
In any case, this refusal is not in the slightest bit surprising. Obama, after all, is the man who had no discernible feeling for the brave democracy demonstrators in Tehran, abjuring them in favor of self-serving (and ultimately useless) dialogue with Ahmadinejad. The way Obama ignored the Iranian Green Movement is the most morally and emotionally disconnected act by an American president in my lifetime. Why should Netanyahu trust a man like that?
Which leads me to the incendiary part of this article.
I address it to my fellow Jews who are currently in the Democratic Party or supporting it.
How do you sleep?
I’m talking to you David Axelrod, Charles Schumer, and even you, Alan Dershowitz, who made such a big (and welcome) noise when Jerusalem, Hamas, and the “law of return” were left out of the Democratic Party platform for the first time in years and then went suddenly silent when only the first of the three was reinstated.
How about you, Rahm Emanuel, son of the Irgun and one-time volunteer with the IDF? How would you feel if a dirty nuke, slipped by the Revolutionary Guard into the hands of their buddies in Hezbollah, detonated on Dizengoff Street?
And then there’s Jack Lew, Orthodox and the president’s very own chief of staff, sometimes referred to as “The Gate Keeper” or “The Co-President.”
I could go on. There are so many more. But you get the point. (I deliberately omitted Deborah Wasserman Schultz in order to not be accused of attacking the cognitively challenged.)
Nasty words exist in the Jewish tradition for those who collaborated with the enemy during World War II. These people are not nearly as bad as that. Most of them are well-meaning though hidebound by a tradition dating from the time of FDR and earlier, making them emotionally unable to acknowledge the corruption of the Democratic Party, corruption that was made painfully apparent by the shouts of “boos” from the floor of last week’s convention.
But imagine those “boos” in another time and place… on the floor of the Reichstag in the 1930s or the floor of the Majlis last week… and you may not be so emotionally blocked, may not find it so easy to sleep, as I said.
So to my Jewish brethren: difficult times ahead. Time to make some tough decisions that call a lot of old assumptions into question. I know it’s not easy. But it’s necessary.

A couple of other nasty words besides “capo” might be the words “George” when combined with the word “Soros”, in which today’s impending Islamist holocaust has a direct and tangible link with the Nazi holocaust, for his actions really were as bad as that and his enabling of world events today cannot be overlooked.
There are most certainly demons walking the planet right now. The Mad Mullahs of Tehran, the Muslim Brotherhood, George Soros and, most sadly of all, the current occupant of the White House.
The world of September 11, 2013 will like bear little resemblance at all to the world of September 10, 2001.
Therefore, as depressing, demoralizing, and otherworldly as it appears, this blogger will not shy from telling it like it is.

You think that Canada shuttered its doors because of its high ideals about not wishing to deal with Ira?! Don’t be silly! Canada closed its embassy because it was infiltrated by Iran past the point of saving it. What happened in Benghazi and Cairo was going to happen in Tehran, but to Canadians. Canada sent the Iranians packing from Canada because Iranians were infiltrating Canadian society in a way that Europe has tolerated for itself much to its everlasting regret. Finally, Canada has closed its Embassy in Iran because of America. It has handled American affairs in Iran since 1979 and has now found it far too taxing, given that it is not America, but Canada, which is a separate entity. It is likely, though I have no special information, that conflicting policies and demands simply made Canada’s functioning as liason untenable. Confusional paralysis is an easily acquire disease these days, since America says and does different things almost simultaneously, thus making fools of those who try to understand it.

President Obama attended Rev. Wright’s church for twenty years. Rev. Wright and Louis Farrakhan are close friends. These two men have been known for their anti-Semitism for a very long time. The Democratic Party has become San Francisco and West LA, Upper West Side, etc. To see these folks in alliance with the Black Panthers and others is of course shocking to our sensibilities, but not surprising. They can’t see what they do, or they can and don’t care. Somehow I think of the environmental issue and how even Feinstein – someone with a moderate core – outlawed the placement of windmills in the Mojave while supporting ‘green’ in theory. Debka had a story on 05 SEP entitled “Massed US, UK, French navies for drill simulating breach of blocked Hormuz”. The drill is scheduled for 16-27 SEP (from the day before Rosh HaShanah to the day after Yom Kippur). Debka says the war game has three objectives beyond practicing tactics:
1. to forestall an Israeli offensive attack by showing “that the US-Western military option for disrupting Iran’s race to a nuclear bomb is deadly serious”
2. to convey the same message to Iran
3. to “assemble massive strength on the spot in anticipation of an Israeli decision after all to cut down the Iranian nuclear menace on its own”.
In other words, the third objective is based on the assumption that Israel intends to attack Iran during this 12 day period and to have all the forces on hand in the Gulf to prevent the passage of Israeli planes overhead. I hope Michael Ledeen is correct when he says that Israel has no intention of doing anything so conventional.

Obama is willing to desert Israel but their God will not. The bible shows us that the Lord will have the final say about Jerusaleum and Israel. I have a sister whose daughter in law is Jewish and her parents live in Israel. Every year she goes to see them with her precious children. This is the first summer they told her to not come, things are really bad there now. They are surrounded by enemies and we have one in the WH that should have been their friend. Eric, no need to go that far. A few well selected and placed missiles in the key oil producing spots in the Middle east will cause the whole world to go dark for a long, long time.I always wondered why, since OPEC has been threatening the world about cutting off oil for years; Israel never mentions its ability to do the same and even more permanently.
A group of senior Israeli defense staff went to China earlier this year, and presumably, that is exactly what they told them — if Israel is destroyed, China will lose her precious oil forever.
I agree with Eric as least as far as Russia goes. It is the sponsor of Syria and an ally of Iran for its own purposes. It’s hard to imagine an all out war between Israel and the Iran-Syria-Hezbollah axis without pulling Russia in. The operative word is all-out. Although it was the Soviets and not the Putin fascists, Russian paratroopers were mobilizing to invade Israel during the Yom Kippur war until Nixon put the US military on red alert.
The very existence of Israel should be proof enough to the rational mind that God exists. As a Christian, I don’t fear deeply for Israel, but for the hordes of Islam who are so deluded that they face eternity in perdition rather than accepting Israel. God didn’t bring Israel to this point in history to abandon it. Repent while you still can Islam.

The IDF and the US Military are the most humane armed forces to ever exist, and both teach soldiers to disobey illegal orders to attack civilians. To assume an IDF officer would give or obey an order to launch a nuclear weapon at Russia or Europe is just stupid. Not to mention millions of Jews live in those places.
If G-d forbid Iran nuked Israel, Israel would turn Iran into glass and then rebuild. And Jews in USA and Europe would help. If the Jew-hating Arabs tried to take advantage Israel’s momentary weakness and attack, they would also glow in the dark. That’s what the nukes are for – self defense only, not to start a global nuclear war.
The real question is: who might retaliate against Israel in support of Iran (Syria? Russia?) and who would then retaliate against them? It’s the cascade effect that is worrisome.
That’s why it will be vitally important for President Romney to fast-track the development of our missile defenses. The day will come, within our lifetimes, when we will have to be able to defend both the U.S. and its allies against an all-out Russian nuclear attack.

If Israel ever got nuked they should rebuild as the 51st state in a carved out section of Texas or thereabouts. They should package all their possessions, buildings, and their holy sites down to the last pebble into 40ft cargo containers and emigrate to the U.S. They maybe could have status like a native american tribe.
Whatever they leave behind should be flattened and/or poisoned.
I have always thought that Israel should purchase the southern end of Baja California (state of BC Sur, pop. 600,000) from Mexico at some inflated rate, near to friendly countries but still isolated, and relocate every little brick and block of Jerusalem in Jewish hands to Cabo San Lucas. Leave the Middle East to the Palestinians and their facilitators, and have civilized neighbors… and margaritas. Trade the Arab Muslim Israelis for Mexican Catholic Israelis or some such… work the details out later.
Texas between Corpus Christi (lots of Catholic place names in south Texas –the people are modern, tho, not medieval) and Brownsville (on the Rio Grande) is another place, if it came to it. It’s ranchland and it’s on the sea, with ports of Brownsville and Corpus, both of which could be greatly expanded. Very sparsely populated, the folks scattered along in there would absolutely love the project. They have very little use for anti-anything, semitism or otherwise, though Brownsville’s sister city across the River is named “Matamoros” (‘kill the Moors’ –it was founded by veterans of Spain’s Moor Wars). Anyhoo, the place is practically undeveloped and Israeli gumption and know-how would have a clear and open field to set to making another miracle in the (near) desert. Be a hoot to hear Hebrew with a Texas twang –or Spanglish with a Yiddish accent!
But what’s the point of leaving the Muslims of the Middle East only to find them taking over the USA?

Your children do not go to school there every day.Israel cannot possibly rebuild after a nuclear attack on its soil. Do you have any idea of the size of the country? Israel is a very small country, and the overwhelming bulk of its population is packed into a very small number of targets. If the Iranians nuked Israel, they would stand a very good chance of killing most of the population with even a few nukes. It would not simply be a matter of rebuilding, there would be almost nobody left to start again and nothing left to rebuild. Yes, the Israeli retaliation would inevitably fall upon Iran, but the mullahs might be able to live with this. Tehran would be destroyed, but the mullahs base of support is in the countryside, and nothing short of a genocidal response by the IDF (and I simply do not believe that they would do this, nor could they….Iran is a very big place, and the Israelis only have a limited number of warheads) would destroy that. For the true believers among the mullahs (and some of them are not simply corrupt), the extinction of a geopolitical Iran might be worth it if they could accomplish the elimination of Israel.
Revenge, and make no mistake about it…it will be revenge, will not bring back the dead. For you and I, there will be some small satisfaction at the end of Iran, but Israel will still be a cinder.
That’s why I’d be for the packing up of Israel complete (people/structures/holy sites) and moving it to the U.S. before the (probably)inevitable happens. Destroy what can’t be moved and let the ME kill themselves in their own inter-rivalries.
Imagine the increased tourism to the Holy sites once they’re in the US. Imagine the addition to the US GDP with the inclusion of the Israel tribe that can focus on innovation rather than fending off the Islamist hordes.

There is a strong element of the irrational in the Obama presidency. Nothing he articulates on matters of policy can be reconciled with anything but emotions. In that, his self-regard is astonishing and the consequences for all of us overwhelming. But, let’s be clear, as he would say. Israel is where the rubber meets the road and his catastrophic failure as a leader will be self evident to any and all as Israel undertakes to defend itself. His Carter transmutation is nearly complete facilitated by the shared needle of anti-semitism. This is a petty, dangerous, little man who poses at the white house now and will take as many down with him as possible. They always do.

This is a man who has a romanticized view of anything he defines as “Eastern” and “mystical”, and a revulsion toward anything he defines as “Western” and “materialistic”. He is the direct (pseudo-)intellectual heir of the Persian rulers like Darius and Xerxes; he worships himself more than anything else. And considers earth and water to be the only worthy manifestation of his godhead.
He is neither a Muslim, nor even a pagan. (For the record, I have a lot of respect for some types of the latter, notably Asatru.)
Obama is someone who looks in a mirror to see his godhead, while dreaming of the perfection he can create if everyone else will admit that they see the same thing he does. And he looks at the “mystical East” and sees the sort of world he believes is a Paradise, and which he can create.

Plainly, at a time pre-dating modern communications, they must have relied on word of mouth and snail mail, backed, presumably, by discussion in and around the family and synagogues. And, human nature being what it is, denial and rationalization.

I do not think Obama is a match for this guy. Obama is hating him because Bibi had it all: a very respectable father, loving family, heroic brother, country which he liked and fought for, real life experience etc. When Obama looks on Bibi, he looks on the real life guy and Obama feels deep inside that he is a fake. Rahm’s duties involved rust-proofing vehicle brakes. In exchange Sar-El provides room, board and the opportunity to tour Israel. It’s a fun thing for senior citizens and backpacking college kids to do and it is a mitzvah, but to equate it with military service is ridiculous.
Everything I’ve seen indicates that Rahm is a spoiled, cowardly, smarmy child of privilege. He tries to project a “tough guy” image (the cursing, the knife in the table during the campaign rallies) but there is no credible evidence I’ve seen that he has the moral fiber, interest or inclination to put it on the line as a solider or police officer in the forces of the U.S., Israel or any other country.

I’ve wondered the same myself for a number of years. How can Jews stay in a party that openly caters to anti-Semites? Or favor gun control, a seemingly self-evidently insane position for Jews?

I watched some, as much as could stomach, of the Democratic Convention and heard distortion of facts, propaganda and bald-faced lies – all of it. Every facet, history being rewritten. I have been wondering the same thing. Why don’t the Jews in this country see how dangerous this situation is? It is has been obvious for years.
Many years ago I wondered why people sat by and reassured themselves with fantasies while Hitler gathered power. Our Obama/Clinton State Dept. announced at one point that free speech is not something important to fight and die for, like for instance the sensitivity of people concerning how their religion is discussed by non-believers. A more appropriate response by our government to the situations in Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, Libya, Pakistan and Egypt might be to put our military on High Alert status and for the President to ask Congress to consider whether a form of universal military training, id est, a draft bill, should be introduced.

I think you are wrong Roger. Rahm never served with the IDF.
In fact, Rahm volunteered with a group called Sar-El, a civilian, unarmed, non-combat organization which provides a few basic maintenance services to the IDF way in the rear, away from combat. Rahm’s duties involved rust-proofing vehicle brakes. In exchange Sar-El provides room, board and the opportunity to tour Israel. It’s a fun thing for senior citizens and backpacking college kids, gentiles and Jews to do and it is a mitzvah, but to equate it with military service is ridiculous.
Everything I’ve seen indicates that Rahm is a spoiled, cowardly, smarmy child of privilege. Bush Jr. gave Israel the gift of Hamas because of his stupid elections against the wishes of Israel. This permanently destroyed any chance for peace. He forced an early end to the war with Hezbolla which left them intact. He refused to sell Israel tankers or bunker busters and would not give them an air corridor over Iraq. He ignored Iran and now this is a big problem.
Look I am no bigger fan of Obama than you are. I have no intention of voting for him. Republican voters have very strong positive feelings for Israel and are very supportive. Let us not pretend however that Republican presidents have a pristine record concerning Israeli security.
What does any of that have to do with Obama?

Point is that there is no reason, based on past experience, to think that Romney will do any better for Israel. Just because he is a Republican does not necessarily make him any better on that score. He has little experience in foreign affairs and all we have to go on is what he says which has not been much and none of it specific.

They can die in their ignorance like sheep when it finally arrives in force at our shore. We learned nothing from 9/11.
However, it is no longer palatable to me to simply provide arms to Israel, then expect them to do our dirty work while we straddle the fence feigning diplomacy. I’m not interested in removing despots – the same despots who hold the animals in check to begin with – then attempting to rebuild their nation for them at taxpayer expense only to turn around and have them use or own weaponry against us. They’ve had their chance numerous times and failed.
We are out of time. It’s time to send a clear message without the worry of collateral damage. I’m really not interested in winning hearts and minds anymore, then seeing our own blood shed for the effort.

I think we should take a more sophisticated reading of events. The key difference between US and Israeli policy is simply that the US doesn’t care if Iran can build and bomb, and Israel wants Iran of being incapable of doing so. The interests are much at odds.
The US wouldn’t mind if Iran could build a bomb or rather assemble one. That threat would enhance US negotiating posture.
If you are right to soon or act too soon you are wrong. If nothing else the US sees time as an advantage in regional politics. A stronger Iran would provoke counter movements.
In the worst case, if Israel took a hit, it would be a good excuse for very extreme action, and the rest of the world would not mind.
Were Israel destroyed, the whole region would turn on itself in a war of all against all.
The US will wait for events, and not try to manage the situation as some might prefer.

Hitler was a typical psycho, projecting his own murderous intentions onto those who he intended to kill. He put forth his belief that Jews intended to exterminate every German. So this is what he told the German people, and how he justified exterminating the Jews. Hitler completely controlled the media. He had many coordinated, controlled outlets. The message about “the Jewish enemy” was plastered all over Germany, on posters, newspapers, radio, books — every possible media. It was relentless. It was dogma. And he really believed that his cause would be taken up by governments around the world. There is really only one group other than Nazis who bought this message. There is really only one other group who has the same institutionalized narrative. And there is every reason to believe that a leader who is making similar threats as Hitler did is as serious about carrying them out as Hitler was.

We may have just witnessed the greatest hoax since the Protocols of the Elders. The Innocent Moslem was supposedly created by a Jew, an Israeli no less, and financed by another 100 Jews at a cost of $5,000,000. Simply stated, it seams that the person who created this doesn’t exist. The moneys can’t be traced nor the backers identified. At best this film is a thrown together hodge podge of copied snippets that are dubbed, and dubbed badly. It is doubtful that the film cost more than 50 cents and a few hours of somebody’s time. If anyone made a film and debuted it in Hollywood with 100 backers, at least 100 backers would have shown up and probably their families and friends. This all smells of blood libel, al-Dura, Palliwood and a million other lies created by Jew haters. On the other hand, who better to blame all this on? This really needs to be investigated not scape goated.
Not incendiary at all, very realistic, and it would be bad enough if it was only Dizengoff St and surrounds that were at risk of being turned into toast.
The horrible reality is that the brutal, barbarous clique that rules Iran would think nothing (if they thought they could get away with it) of slipping a nuke to one of their proxies, or even to the hated sunnis, for use in an american or european city. Indeed, perhaps they would feel safer doing it to Europe rather than Israel.
Be that as it may, the destruction if Iran’s nuclear capability is – at least arguably – a moral and practical imperative, whatever the consequences.
Let’s not leave Ed Koch out of this equation. I heard an interview w/him on Aaron Klein’s radio show and this old fool actually thinks Obama listens to him.
Pulleez, Roger doesn’t go nearly far enough. Uh hello near 80% of American ‘Jews’ voted for this Jew-hater Obama. And Commentary mag makes a big deal that support for Obama among American ‘Jews’ has dropped now all the way down to uh … 59%. Only 59% of American Jews suffer from severe psychosis, we are way past the point of mere neuroses now.
Obama could cheer Ahmadinejad at the UN, declare the protocols of Zion genuine, call for the right of return, recognize Hamas as a legitimate moderate group peaceful in intent, (I was going to write arm the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt but then that ain’t parody, that’s the reality. Obama is even beyond self-parody) and his support among American Jewry would plummet to … 52%.
My guess is, it’s not Obama getting the 59%, it’s the secular party getting it, and the reason is the history of persecution by religious majorities.
Of course, that secular party isn’t really secular anymore (the pagan ethos rising over the last generation) and those historical persecuters by and large weren’t really ‘religious’ at all (as then they couldn’t've persecuted) but nevertheless there’s an argument that that would be the way to bet it. As my happy-go-lucky Texas Jewish son-in-law says (with a grim smile, when we argue politics) “You don’t get it –we have to listen for that song, or that speech….” Something about system-order law, chaos, and reversion to the mean. Of course, i could do without being called mean, but he could probably do without being called impossibly hard-headed.
That stubborness –that’s the survival adaptation that creates the unique Jewish history, and there is this other thing –the human species came closest to disappearing at one point (was it 70,000 years ago?) –got down to a few thousand individuals in one group in one place. Climate change (actual, not pretend) was, as drought, the killer, and what saved us is what was otherwise getting us killed –our own human nature, expressed in killing off the ‘other’ where he could be found. So, since we could not get along with each other, and hence were always moving away from each other, so it happened that in that bad time the one weather zone that wasn’t a man-killer did happen to have a local breeding population in residence –whew!
One other thing, the Herman Wouk two book set ”The Winds of War” and ”War and Remembrance” –although novels, or perhaps because they’re novels, would answer many questions posed upthread about 1930s central Europe and what kept so many so endangered so within the grip of the state. Wouk does this through Natalie, a young woman able to re-define the state of being in a normal situation even as that very ability sends her further and further into the clutch and snare of a New World Order that ‘just can’t be what it looks like it is’, because, for one thing, in the story, what it looked like it was didn’t quite exist yet.
Wouk is making a very fine point about occultic design; changing ‘you won’t know until it’s too late’ into ‘you can’t know unless it’s too late’.
Is this the ten northern “lost” tribes avenging their betrayal by Judah to Babylon in 712 BC?

I worked in both West Hartford, Connecticut and Shaker Heights, Ohio and I often shake my head knowing the liberal blindness which so many American born jews hide behind in their mistaken belief that president Obama is Israel’s friend.
Obama meeting with Netanyahu at this stage of the game would be political suicide. Talk about an empty chair. Newt Gingrich could eviscerate the impostor in chief with little or no effort. Netanyahu’s skill is so polished that he could tell Obama to go to hell in such a way that the preezie would be looking forward to the trip.
That Barack Hussein Obama is still polling in the high fifties among American Jewish voters is the most damning bit of evidence to their claim of being the “chosen people” I have seen in my lifetime. If you haven’t woken up to what this group of fascists are up to by now, there is little hope.
