Mark Levin: Media Now All-MSNBC, All the Time

Obama’s Revolutionary Guard “Pulled Up Their Dresses, You Saw Everything And It’s Not Pretty,” Levin told his listeners yesterday, as quoted by David James of CNS News this morning:

Radio host Mark Levin stated: “This is why you cannot believe the media in this country…too often than not, they’re pushing an agenda.”

On last night’s show, Levin discussed Gov. Romney’s press conference regarding the attacks on U.S. embassies in Egypt and Libya on September 11:

“Everybody’s MSNBC now, have you noticed? MSLSD is now the new high bar – the new high standard for the media. So, they piled on – they ganged up on Romney.

“This is why you cannot believe the media in this country. They may be right, now and then, but too often than not they’re pushing an agenda.

“These reporters represent NBC, ABC, CBS – I don’t know if the cable reporters were there – I suppose they were. Print reporters – I suppose they were. You didn’t hear a single person dissent about what was about to take place. They’re all ready.

“Now, these are opportunities for you, folks. Because they let their hair down, they let their pants down, they pulled their dresses up. You saw everything and it’s not pretty.

Jennifer Rubin explores one opportunity for both Romney and the GOP in her column today, asking, “What would Romney do without the media?” (Which is a polite way for Jennifer to ask what would Romney do without her Obama-worshiping colleagues at the Washington Post, among other members of the legacy media):

And in part the reaction on the right was appreciation that Romney, in condemning the initial Cairo apology and sticking up for free speech rather than pandering to the perceived “defamation of religion,” had given voice to many of their complaints about Obama’s foreign policy perspective.

And surely the over-the-top obsessive coverage of Romney’s purported gaffe, rather than the security lapse and the other particulars of the event, helped reignite what can only be described as hatred for the mainstream media. When the chips are down, conservatives are certain, fairness and accuracy go out the window. If the media are going to rally to Obama, then, by gosh, conservatives are going to rally to Romney.
