My Forthcoming Book: Men on Strike

So I have a new title and book cover for up forthcoming book. The original title that I liked was “Male Strike: Society’s War on Men.” The new official title is Men on Strike: Why Men Are Boycotting Marriage, Fatherhood, and the American Dream – and Why It Matters. I suppose the latter has more marketability. There is also a new cover which you can see here. I hope readers will like it.
I like the second half of the title very much. But I nitpick “Strike” because it implies that we will return to our jobs with a few concessions on the part of our employers. Men are fundamentally re-thinking our role in society, and it becomes especially apparent when you look at men under 30. The fact is, the role of protector and provider really sucked, and marriage was always more beneficial to women than it was to men.
Thanks to women’s horrendous behavior, men are waking up. What has been seen cannot be unseen. In a few years the voices asking “where have all the good men gone” are going to be a earth-shattering uproar, and us men will respond with our middle fingers raised.
I concede that there will always be plenty of men willing to be a donkey for a woman. One of my predictions is an effort on the part of Feminism to legitimize polygamy, as more women find it harder and harder to find “good” men willing to take care of them.
Rapidly-feminizing Brazil has already made 3-partner civil unions legal.

Maybe that is why the left has sought to promote both misandry and islam in order to radically change society? Make the Western / Westernized male feel alienated to the point where he have no stake in preserving the current misandrist system or reason to even protect women / be law-abiding / loyal in such a society, all the while giving women a “consequence-free” way out when the current system collapses, when women would convert to islam in droves to be provided / protected while men would convert since it would be seen as a traditionalist patriarchal system that justifies a male follower’s savagery / baser nature.
I know some within the Manosphere seem to idealise islam as a pro-male system in much the same way many western men idealise asian women though what I’ve been trying to figure out is if the western world is viewed a matriarchy (with a “soft” liberal-harem like 20/80 rule where the top 20% of men have sex / procreate with roughly 80% + of women), then how can the Islamic-ruled world be considered a patriarchy if men there appear to be facing almost exactly the same problems as western / westernized men with their polygamous 20/80 rule being of the brutal despotic traditionalist variety that along with (China-like) gender-based abortion creates an “artificial” gender imbalance causing the lower 80% of men there with no prospects to become restless, violent and open to migrating to non-muslin lands / sex slavery / jihad / etc?
I agree the Left is trying to normalize radical Islam but I’m still having trouble understanding the motives. I agree it is a little strange for the Left, supposedly friendly to Feminists and gays, to put a religion that murders them on a pedestal.
Possible Reasons (based on my limited conjecture) include:
• The Left being anti-freedom from the start and seeking to co-opt various competing / contradictory interests (including islam) to use as weapons to bring down western society.
Fwiw in islam-dominated societies despite being forbidden it appears that homosexuality is tacitly allowed (albeit to the powerful) so long as men are not the “receiver” or take it too far by wearing women’s clothing. As to why Feminists / Misandrists support islam, it could be the case that their role is only limited to browbeating men in western / westernized nations even if some Feminists / Misandrists long for their own utopian vision of a world without men (or at least enslaved) to be realised.
• The Left viewing islam as an “exotic” universal proto-socialist system to merge / unite with and summing the latter up as a sort of communism for savages with their Holy Book being deemed as essentially Das Kapital for primitive people despite believing in a monotheistic deity (that who is nothing more than an alternate ego of the Islamic prophet to justify the desires of himself and after his death the powerful), while the islamic concept of jahiliyya would appeal to the Left in terms of destroying the past and its eternal lessons for their own ends hence their moral relativist / post-logical / post-chronological worldview along with their denial of history and of cause and effect in education / academia / society.
• Coinciding interests with the continued existence of the Jewish people, all they stand for (G-d, remembrance of the past, sense of history, 10 commandments, 7 Noahide laws, human dignity, conscience if hitler is to be believed, etc) and their unique ability to outlast many an empire / movement proving to be a major obstacle to the universal utopian visions of the left and islam(as both state previous movements are nothing more than anachronisms that have no place in both movements respective utopian visions).
• Building on the previous two reasons, this could be why the Leftist-islam alliance seeks to replace Jerusalem with Mecca as cities which Western Civilisation was built on in their on-going efforts to merge Western Civilisation with “Islamic civilisation” as well as why the left destroyed the family, since quite a few alienated men and women (ultimately being the biggest losers despite creating the whole mess between the sexes in the first place) would find islam to be appealing.
• It could be the case that the Left with its desire to reduce the human population sees the constant chaos / instability /anarchy and tribal warfare / conflict in islam-dominated lands to be useful and even admirable.
• Islamic Oil coming with more strings attached then people realise with leftist non-muslim governments / establishments being more than willing to sell out / collude for their own selfish interests.
There are probably other reasons / motives that I have not been touched upon though I sure others can think of a few.
These are all good points. I especially agree with the “anti-Israel/anti-Christian/anti-Jew” affinity because the Left has always been those things. I also think there is truth to the idea they want to use Islam as a form of social engineering for the lower classes. In fact, I was just thinking about that the other day.

All good points, Nate. It always helps to remember that postmodern feminism is really just leftism marketed to women, specifically to upper-class white women. (The 19th-century aristocracies, typifield by Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette, never really died out. They re-emerged in the 20th century as the International Left.) Leftists desire to overthrow Western civilization, and they desire to do so with violence both because they don’t think they can win any other way, and because violence against other people turns them on. But, they for the most part are a pretty prissy bunch and they don’t want to soil their lily-white hands or be distracted from their cocktail circuit, plus they want to maintain plausible deniability. So they seek to engage Islam as their armed wing and have it do their dirty work for them.
In their view, once Islam has destroyed the West for them, they will co-opt Islam and make it serve them. They are very mistaken about their ability to do this, but such is their nature that they vastly over-estimate their own abilities. (If leftists weren’t inhereently narcissistic, leftism wouldn’t exist in the first place.)
Having lived in Saudi Arabia for four years, several things became clear to me about the nature of Islam. Among them is this: Anyone who thinks they can co-opt Islam or otherwise bend it to their will is the apotheosis of delusional. The Arabs can barely control it. We never will. Islam is the red tide of religions. It’s no surprise that the very first words in the Koran are “This book is not to be doubted.”
All of these points are certainly thought-provoking, although I’m not sure how true they are. I do believe that western leftist believe that Islam can somehow be co-opted to their benefit, or at least transformed into something more benign. I think this is a dangerous delusion. Leftists certainly have a track-record for delusion. Stalin used to refer to them as “useful idiots”. Some Muslim leaders probably think the same.
Silly leftists… jihadists will eat them.

Liberals and Islam have a common enemy: free men.
They may have some plan to duke it out with each other after free men are no longer free. If so, the Liberals have a nasty shock coming.

Not too many; most of them quiet down on that nonsense when you point out the 1300 war that Islam has declared on everybody else. Wiki on Muslim conquests will usually get their attention.
Still there are a few, usually recognizably nihilistic who won’t be persuaded.

Maybe somebody needs to sell a combination of pre-nuptual agreement help and divorce insurance for men. I insure my house against fire and tornadoes, but divorce can do even more damage. What if a man’s divorce insurance lawyers had a strong financial interest in minimizing their company losses?

The reason I believe I might make a positive contribution is to dispel the feminist centric stereotype of men who don’t marry (e.g. pathetic, lazy, video game playing unemployed slackers, etc). I am 38, 6 ft, athletic, full head of hair, independently wealthy, top 5 MBA, blah blah…and I choose to opt out given the current (lack of) incentives for marriage. Hope to hear from you.

I wanted to make another observation that may strike your readers as interesting. Many men are on “full” strike against the American female but are looking for an alternative to being subservient to the feminist moors that is so prevalent in our country.
Many have decided to look for a life partner in other countries that train the ladies in a more traditional role in the husband-wife relationship. This is is becoming a more obvious choice for American men that want to be honored and respected in the marriage relationship.
If the men choose wisely and avoid some pitfalls, such as seeking a woman that works in the sex industry, they appear to be remarkably successful at establishing a wonderful life-long relationship with a foreign wife. I have read many stories that share how deep and abiding the love and respect these partners develop for each other.
So far, the divorce statistics are bearing this out. In America, the divorce rate is over 50% of all marriages. Again, if the man chooses wisely, the divorce rate in these foreign wife marriages is about 10%.
There is a lot more that I could say, but I will end with this. Apparently the foreign born and raised ladies see some very commendable traits in the American male. So much so, that they are willing to leave family and culture to spend their lives with a male that exhibits what a lot of American women don’t see or understand; I.e. commitment, integrity, hard working, faithfulness, and much more. The American man will give all of this to a women if he is loved and treated with respect. The foreign ladies are willing to give them these two things because of what the men bring to the marriage.
